Its very possible that lozic has found a way to program this. The guy is literally a genius with these cars. It was certainly not a thing on my original tune, but the original tune also had the very first version of boost ready enabled, which would be why it had all the strange quirks. On mine it seems when i set cruise control, boost ready is inactive so im not constantly building and blowing off boost at highway speeds
Very possible, ive had mine since december of last year. Im pretty sure some things have changed. Aint no sense to pay to change it if i dont mind it and it runs goodIts very possible that lozic has found a way to program this. The guy is literally a genius with these cars. Solid Logic if ive ever seen it.Very possible, ive had mine since december of last year. Im pretty sure some things have changed. Aint no sense to pay to change it if i dont mind it and it runs good
I'm not sure. I know that above 2500 rpm for launch kept resulting in slower times for me. That is also dependent on what power your car is at and more importantly, your tires.I’m also curious if you chose 2,500 for boost ready that the “factory” launch with boost will no longer kick in as well? (I know with TCU that it would not matter anyways)
When you filled out your order sheet did you specify that you have high flow/deleted primary catalytic converters? Lozic told me that if I change from stock catalyst to high flow/deleted catalyst then my ECU mapping will need updated because the boost curve is dramatically effected.Anyone hit overboost a lot when running 1.5bar and having replaced downpipes with hfc, and deleted mid pipe cats?
He has informed me of the same thing as well, which makes sense because there is much less resistance in the exhaust system, which would allow the turbos to spool much quicker. When you filled out your order sheet did you specify that you have high flow/deleted primary catalytic converters? Dude knows his shit. So glad I went with his expertise @sweetboyed and great customer supportHe has informed me of the same thing as well, which makes sense because there is much less resistance in the exhaust system, which would allow the turbos to spool much quicker.
Yes, I had my full list laid out and confirmed with him. When you filled out your order sheet did you specify that you have high flow/deleted primary catalytic converters? Oh, yours is a 2022 G70. I should've paid attention to your signature. Genesis did an excellent job on the refresh.Yes, I had my full list laid out and confirmed with him.
I think a lot.of the issues came with I was one of the very early adopters of his tune with a 2022 model and sport+.
This revelation of no more overboost with a new TCU that accounts for sport plus is additional proof of it.
We have gone through 4 ECUs and now my second TCU. Sadly the ECU I have now is a flat 1.5 bar on all modes, but I think I like it...my wallet doesn't as much.
I got the car in August last year, I had my ECU in October I think lol...
I have paid for 1 shipping charge from lozic at this point, the guy is awesome.Oh, yours is a 2022 G70. I should've paid attention to your signature. Genesis did an excellent job on the refresh.
Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. I guess the factory mapping is different for the 22s.
I would be very frustrated if I had to pay for a remap 3 times. Especially if it never was right in the first place. I probably would've given up on the 2nd remap and requested a partial refund.
Hearing stories like this makes me hesitant to upgrade to a 22' Stinger...
That's good to hear. From my experience he has always made things right.I have paid for 1 shipping charge from lozic at this point, the guy is awesome.
Language barrier and my minimal knowledge of tuning now has created interesting things, but at this point I think it's nailed down very well.
What are you planning to change on the ECU Remap and Why??Received my remapped ECU & TCU today. SUPER FAST SHIPPING! Ecu was 1.4 ,power by mode, boost ready 2500rpm.
Boost ready @ 2500 was fine in eco and comfort but sport did not like the lag after having full on. Sending back for adjust. I do like very much the pop(bubble ) on downshift.
TCU Is pressure 1 -8% with soft 2nd to 1st downshift. And for me it is as perfect as it can get. I liked pressure 2 if it could be just in sport and pressure 1 in comfort.
LOZIC is awsome!
Would love to hear what this feels like when you receive ECU back with boost ready always on. It’s my single hang up based on everyone’s experience when this tune was first released. Lozic said “99.9 % of Korea orders with boost ready always on” so we Americans must be a PITA as it relates to this option lol. I have a feeling it’s much more refined nowBoost ready always on, had start @ 2500 rpm but felt lag then slam like a rocket. In sport I like slam like a rocket I was just trying to avoid boosting with low throttle in comfort and eco but since I now have power by mode b comfort shouldn't be as bad plus I think he is going to try to smooth it out. Other than that ecu and tcu will be perfect for me.
Haha Lozics a former race car driver/champ so hes thrill will be way higher than ours. I would imagine it is refined now so cant go wrong.Would love to hear what this feels like when you receive ECU back with boost ready always on.
