Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

yeah its feels the same as running with stock TCU, I was just showing how the -8% reduction shifts pretty much right at 6000rpm and held the boost levels very nicely. I like how the car shifts in sport mode, I just wanted it to auto shift at 6k, have built in brake snip boost levels without having to flip a switch. tried factory launch and only built 3.8lbs of boost with torque limit ON, might not be the same for others
So with off you just hold the break and creep the throttle to say 3000 and let go of the brake? Or do you use Kia's launch control since its not torque limited?

Do I need EWG wire stuff to do this? I do still have my JB4. Also, someone mentioned about a setting in the JB4 if running aftermarket ECU, but I've not made any setting changes to the ECU since install. Running MAP 0 just to log.
I'm not 100% sure if it's needed with ff adaption. But for the ewg control you definitely will. And yes Terry said to turn on I think it's bit 6. It let's the jb4 know it's not the oem ecu so it's more sensitive and reacts faster. And linear pedal mapping helped also it only moves the throttle with how much pedal is pushed alot more accurately then letting the ecu run wild.

Put it launch control, mash the go fast pedal, and hold the f*ck on.
Too little gas and it'll bog.
Too much and it'll spin.
Just right and off you go!

You will get some crazy spin if you launch at 3000 and it might slam the throttle shut to kill the power. 2700 is the highest I ever tried and it was pretty wild with all the ties spinning

So you do use kia lc?

with torque limit off you dont use launch control anymore. after a certain rpm, I believe 2300 the rear tires will start spinning and build boost quick thats why limit ON stops it at 2300

K now I'm going to sound stupid asking but want to understand. So if I have the feature off so no limit. I essentially hold the brakes till say 2300 and let go? And if shipped with on its the same thing? Sorry I never had a brake snip so not sure how this all works

From what I'm seeing with the factory ECU and the TCU torque limit ON the ECU still limited my boost levels with factory launch control to 1.9 psi max. with the ECU Tune I was usually building around 6 psi. The brake snip mod tricks the ECU and allows you to build more boost, most people I believe launch around the 2500 rpm mark, just search burger brake switch mod if you want to learn more. The torque limit OFF option will allow you to do the same thing without doing the brake switch mod

Lozic told me that in Comfort Rpm stays at 2300 and you have about 0,5 Bar.
In Sport boost is by that Rpm/pedal it makes, like brake snip. So I think its best to order Torque Limits off. Its still better than stock even in Comfort as you can have like up to 8 Psi.

I would just reduction FF/Wastegate adaption down from 50 to 45 and step it down by 5 and see how it acts for you.
Should default wastegate pos be 0 as well?

So just hold brake till 2500 rpm and let off that is it? And I would launch at higher boost?

I guess someone filmed my car running yesterday at the track. But that was at 803 elevation with DA over 2000 and 80 deg ambient. I wasn't really worried about the light as much as trying to get a launch and torque limit down better. The first launch was 2psi and 2nd launch was 5psi.

holding the brake is the easy part lol, but yes the higher the rpms the more boost you build. My question is with the torque limit off and factory ECU are you still able to do it?

Is this with stock or Lozic ECU
