Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Someone on here posted at -8 was about perfect shifts were just below 6000k. So you might be more like 6250k?

Yes, I saw that post.

Well... 6.500 X 0.95=6.175 Rpm so maybe a tad over 6.000 when shift starts.
I can see in my JB4 Logs that car is some 1/10 seconds faster if I shift manual at like 6.000 and not at redline.
Is it to bad I will try to have it retuned.

Seems that delivery of TCU to Sweden did go fast. I ordered last monday and today a message from the Swedish Toll that they cleared as package is here, so some days more and I have the fastest Stinger in Sweden.

I can’t remember what page and the person that asked but i never saw an answer. If you do not have a JB4 already, how could I log runs and what gauges to use to watch parameters with the Lozic ECU? I have a GT so no gauges on dash.

It was me that asked. Nobody w/o a JB4 replied. I don't think they're logging.

I orderted my TCU with minus 5% shifts, do you think its to little?
It was preset in the Excel sheet from Lozic so I thought that is what they set as standard and also was in their launch video but maybe settings is higher there with earlier shifts. Hmmm...
Here is a reply from Lozic, both are good for different reasons.

The most suitable shift point is -8%.

However, it was set at -5% to reflect the various gears.

If you want a slightly better gear shift time, it is -8%.

I set it to -5% because I can use it higher in 1-2 gears.

Thanks, I will try it. It cant be so much different and at like 2 to 3 gear its time to shift manual. Dont you think?

great time! did you manual shift? looks like an 11.4 was possible.. Launch control or not?
Paddle shift, brake snip and wot box. If I shed some weight and throw in race gas I should hit 11.3-11.4.

Strange of Lozic to dont have more info in the sheet so people can know more what they want to order. Why just dont explain the various of the shifting like they do with pressure? I dont like that they put - 5% like it was their standard.

Mine is the -5% on the tcu. It seems to generally shift around 6k.
That’s good, I’m going to try the tcu -5% with pressure 2 but with my stock ecu. Didn’t want it to start auto shifting at 5.5k or something aha.

No it won't do that. Actually if you don't even feel like using the paddle shifters at all. I only tried it one time but it ran 11.40 letting it go on its own.Screenshot_20210724-170010_Gmail.webp

thanks. I’m stuck between the JB4 or Lozic and don’t want to have to buy both just to do logs and gain access to gauges

Is there a VAGCOM equivalent for the Hyundai Kia Genesis cars? Something that can log through their proprietary canbus protocols, beyond simple OBD2

Alright everyone, I need help making a decision.
Should I go with a 1.6 or 1.7 with CA91 + E85 In the tank Indefinitely paired with meth on tap for sport mode which Is almost my default mode? Or am I being too optimistic and go with a lower bar?
This has become my hardest decision:laugh:

IMO 1.4, this is where you should be looking. I have 1.5 running 93 e 30 and meth. Lots of timing corrections.

I guess he's assuming most will do the math. The car shifts should be around 6250rpm - 5%=5952 or 6k like Williams said. Just do your math from there not redline. You'll be more accurate. - 8% would be 5787 or 5.8k

Just for laughs and entertainment. I finally got my hands on the video of me and a friend from work racing. He swore up and down he could beat me  he has a 2021 LT1 Camaro 450 hp and sport exhaust. He's been hiding this video for a minute but I got em lol. I'm gonna try to get the HD version and upload it but this is it for now. Sorry about the quality. Right click or hold video to copy url.
