Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Awd I defentally have more tuning to do I also do not have the awd or tcu tune on its just the ecu. IAT was 109 on the launch.

I little better let it cool off some and got use to launching more. Same fuel and same place.Screenshot_20210516-003634_dragy.webp

Looks good! You would be 12th on the 1/4 mile leaderboard!

The TCU will definitely make you faster though I found the default setting to harsh for my liking, so I would recommend less shift pressure.

I really need to get some stickier tires also these all seasons spin just on factory launch control.

Very good result. Any other mods other than tuning and cpi?

Yes mishimoto intercooler, hks bov, hks plugs, hfc primary and secondary downpipes, stillen catback, bms intakes, Velossa tech snorkels, jb4 maps and lozic, bms catch can, cpi, ewg wires.

There's folks with FBO cars using JB4, LAP3, and Tork ECU tunes closing in on 10 second runs. Just curious why you went a more experimental route instead of using one of the established tunes?

Just got off the phone with ISC Chicago USPS Customs, as there has been no movement of my package from Lozic since Sunday May 2nd. The guy literally laughed at me, telling me others are waiting months, and to relax.

I'm just curious as to others wait that have gone through Chicago customs...
Did you receive your Lozic Ecu?

That is very true those cars are flying and it probably would have been a little easier I am sure they have alot more of the bugs worked out of them. I figured I would try out the lozic tune and see how things went. There is a good chance it may never be as fast as lap3 or tork tunes or may be down to the times you never know yet. I was actually just screwing around trying to get the cpi tuned in the fine line between good power without overboosting and keeping fuel pressure happy. I did have a full tank of gas and the car was at full weight. But if we all take the same path we all end up with the same result.

I think it's awesome that you're taking one for the team, trying something new and experimental, and reporting back to the rest of us. This thread has been really interesting to follow.

Agreed - thanks for trying it for us. I'm interested in maybe TCU + keeping jb4 and adding CPI.. (I have E85 around the corner). Or, just keep it at jb4 / map2.

I do plan on keeping the oem ecu and jb4 for mostly daily driving if I don't feel like mixing e85. I have noticed the e40 mix is defentally pushing the low limit of octane. I really need to get some e50 in it.

If using Map 0 I'm not sure if it matters, but for those with JB4 and ECU tune did you turn bit6 ON?

Options (formerly FUD) settings as of v14 firmware:

bit0 - Turn on to disable JB4 fuel control or if optional fuel wires are not installed.
bit1 - Turn on to enable manual fuel control adjustment by RPM. Generally not suggested unless advised by a tuner. See firmware notes for how adjustment is entered.
bit2 - Turn on to disable JB4 hot/cold water & oil temperature protection
bit3 - Turn on for slow speed CANbus, useful for some older models.
bit4 - Turn on to disable JB4 over boost, run lean, and fuel pressure safety systems.
bit5 - Disable EWG connectors if installed.
bit6 - Turn on if vehicle has an aftermarket flash map loaded to the ECU.
bit7 - Turn on to run more linear (sluggish) gas pedal to boost mapping.

Any update from others with Lozic tune that doesn’t have full bolt on’s and JB4 for logging that was showing timing corrections and if there has been any update from Lozic?

Here is a current E49 log on a 1/4 mile run from yesterday.

I have seen timing corrections on mine but they are minor. Comparable to corrections you would see on a stock tune, maybe a bit more. As Terry Burger says, if you have 0 corrections all the time, you are leaving power on the table. Of course, you don't want to see too much. Sometimes hard to quantify.

I apologize I'm just now getting around to reporting how my Lozic tune is running...life has been super busy!!!

I received my ECU about two weeks ago. I ordered his ECU, TCU, and AWD unit, but only the ECU was in the box, which was heavily damaged. I contacted Lozic right away, and I agreed to install the ECU, do some logs, see if adjustments were needed, and if so ship the ECU back and he'd return the ECU with the TCU and AWD unit. If I did not need adjustments, he'd just resend a TCU and AWD unit. Fair enough. It is what it is.

The car is fast, no doubt! Stock, it would run high 4 second 0-60, and right at 13 seconds in the quarter mile as per Dragy, which I've previously posted in this thread. Now, it'll do sub 4 second 0-60 all day long, with sub 12 second quarter mile.

I am going to send the ECU back, as I think it could be a little smoother when everyday driving. It does not make any funky noises as posted by some members.

Just as an FYI, my car is a 2019 Genesis G70 Sport 3.3t AWD, and the only modifications are HKS spark plugs, AEM replacement drop in filters in the stock air box that has not been modified in any way, and a Misimoto oil catch can. The car has 8k miles on it, and I'm running stock wheels and tires, Michelin Pilot Sport 4, staggered.

Here are the best times I've ran so far:
