Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Mods? Plugs? Fuel octane? How are you logging to make sure tune is safe?
Ark castles secondary’s and borla catback, k&n intakes, addw1 catch can. Using the hks plugs he sent with the ecu. I have a lap3 stage 4 meth kit… that I haven’t installed yet . He told me it would be fine to run on 93, but to be safe I put in 4 gallons of Sunoco 110. Previously had shell 93 in the tank, and didn’t put the 110 in until I was right at empty (before installing ecu). I know I should have installed the lap3 so I could log, but it’s a 5 mile drive to work and I just wanted to drive it
Idk if it’s throttle close or what. I just don’t understand why 1st and 2nd felt great and third was just f&*%ed.

You might be hitting over boost safety, which is typically 24 PSI, or your fuel pump could be crashing. You need to log to find the exact issue.

Other than going home, I won’t drive it until I have the stage 4 meth kit hooked up and logging.

-4000 rpm and it fell flat on its face, s
I received my 1.5 bar ecu last week and just installed a couple days ago. I had made 1 test drive prior to driving to work this morning, which went fine. This morning I got on it in 1st and 2nd and it sounded great, spun like hell. I rolled into the throttle in 3rd @3500-4000 rpm and it fell flat on its face, sputtering. I emailed lozic and sure he will respond when he can. I’m just bummed, and scared something is hurt!
It's most likely an ignition system problem.
Check it out and mail me.

Hello everyone.
I test drove the G70 2022 a few days ago and was impressed by the sport+ mode.
Hyundai seems to know what I'm after.
Look at the sport+ with a higher rpm
I also made a Stinger sport mode.

97RON 1.5bar
Lozic TCU
Pressure 3
Pattern -5%

This is light acceleration and light braking.

@sweetboyed : I have your ECU, TCU, and AWD unit. My plan is to send the ECU back for some changes over the winter, and I had a question. When I installed your items, I lost rev match downshifting(with the paddle shifters). Is this controlled by the ECU or TCU, and how can I get it back?

TIA!

I have a theory:
Since Lozic is sending different TCU’s coming from different cars (G70/G90/Stinger) and only some people are having the “harsh downshifts” .. couldn’t this be linked together? or maybe some TCU’s have a problem themselves and not a tune issue

My stock TCU is a real pain in the a** .. it has the worst downshifts you could imagine, especially 3rd to 2nd or 2nd to 1st before coming to a complete stop (audible and sensible)

I have tried resetting the adaptive values of the TCU through a scan tool and the problem disappeard completely but then began to slowly come back in a few thousand miles, after 6k miles it’s exaclty as bad as it was.

It seems to only get worse overtime, where the people who has this problem after the TCU tune say it either stays as it is or gets better.

I have a G70 which dose shift so smoothly and tends to delay shifting and has very harsh downshifts
when I drove a buddy’s stinger, I realized how bad my transmission is :( .. the stinger’s transmission was smooth as a silk (quick and smooth in both up and downshifts)

Funny fact: the stinger has more miles than my G70 and the stinger owner beats the crap out of the car everyday, where I just cruise peacefully and take very good care of the car

Will swap my TCU soon and report back

TCU controls.
I haven't seen that rev match doesn't work yet.
Can you send me a video of the dashboard?

If you check the downshift rpm at which the shock occurs and let me know, I think I can solve the problem of the shock by entering a new downshift pattern.
Does the downshift shock occur even in comfort mode?

Hello... is there anyway to adjust second to first gear downshift in Sport that is really hard? I have pressure 3.

If I run manual I would like to have automatic upshift in every drivings settings, Eco, Comfort and Sport "if I forget to shift" and go into rev stop, its better that it then upshift than "bom" into stop.
In our GTRs we have like that, it always upshift in manual at rpm that we have put in, so even if I shift down manually and then WOT it will alway shift at the latest before revstop. If we could have so in stinger we also could choose to run "Auto" and have shifts at 5900 rpm (-8%) or go manual and it will shift right before revstop like 64-6500 rpm. That would make TCU perfect. Possible?

Downshift shock in all modes
(This is regarding stock unmodified TCU)
Is worst when the transmission is cold but still there even when the transmission is up to temperature
I will see if I can log this using JB4 and send it to you in a CSV file

After a TCU adaptive reset through a scan tool there’s no more downshift shock, so the shifting pattern should be correct, but after couple thousand miles the TCU adaptives learn this bad downshifting for some reason.

Post mine also for comparison. Also in a Mustang but very, very conservative one. Showed like 280 stock. Map 3 only 20 hp less. What was yours without tune?Mustang Dyno Stinger Map6.jpg stock.

Seems you have a lot of surge from start, to much Torque. I had to lower boost up to 4000 rpm to stay out of surge.

Yeah I'm thinking of sending it back for adjustments this winter.

Yes, that is wise, no need to "ask" ECU for so much torque so low, seems oscillating a lot. Less is better and when you go WOT just shift down

What scan tool did you use to reset TCU adaptive?
