I didn't know if it was intentional or had benefit. Is "down low" rpm wise or gear wise? It looks 14+ all the way to redline in first gear.
Geezus who’s d@ck is bigger from behind a keyboard?! Let’s get back to the real discussion:
@TorkMe what boost psi is being run on the stage 1? And is stage 1 pretty much completed aka no more updates/changes to stage 1?
It just seems to me that if the Tork and jb4 times are close w/ less boost, that tells me that there are more parameters being maximized w/ the Tork tune and more likely safer due to the balance in tuning more parameters. Suggests speed + reliability and longevity?
@TorkMe I emailed tuned@damnfastdd.com on 11/29 asking about your intakes and muffler deletes and have yet to hear back. Despite the lack of response, I ended up purchasing the intakes based on TonkaBob’s recommendation. The reason I’m bringing this up and I have 20+ years in Customer Service you need to be responsive to your potential customers or else that will impact your business. I realize this could have slipped by, but someone needs to review and ensure emails don’t go unanswered. You have Tonkabob to thank for the purchase.
On a positive note keep up the great work on the platform and I look forward to the benefits from your intakes.
John is right a lot can change in 5 months. He should include a 10-pack of FedEx overnight boxes with every tune so his customers can mail back their ECU every time something changes for the latest update.![]()

I am sorry we didnt get back to you but the tuned email is strictly for Johns tuning sales questions really need to go to sales@damnfastdd.com
Thanks Matt. You may want to give a nudge to John or check the box to make sure emails are being responded to.
The comparison is for the 12.06@119.8 dragy slip on map5 + E30, there is no WMI on that run.
There is no magic here.
Power is a function of the boost, timing, and AFR, combined with higher flow bolt on modifications that increase efficiency of the engine. 1/4 mile times are a function of power, weight, and traction. So these claims your side makes that somehow your going to magically make significantly more power at the same boost, timing, & AFR, are laughable. As are your claims that some magical "11 second 1/4 mile limiter" is programmed in to the ECU that needs to be flashed out, or that modules on the CANbus are not recording ECU values for torque and load. You're just taking advantage of a very naive customer base IMHO.
I had to address the rest of your comments in a different post.
Can you provide me with the maps inside the ECU that show the acceleration limiter? Can you explain to me why the throttle is closing on your 1-2 shift and why ignition timing is dropping so drastic on (shifts) the 11.99 run, but not on the 12.06 run. Can you log actual torque for us in your logs, to reference the limiter vs ignition and throttle close?
I am going to go out on a limb here and say you have already logged torque limits, and you know what the problem is (throttle close and ignition pull), and refuse to acknowledge or share with the community. The magic being, E30 blended fuel. You know just as well as I, that it adds an incredible amount of knock resistance to the fuel and increases cylinder pressure. For you to talk to me, and say that my comments are laughable about the E30 not being a power advantage, its not only insulting to the community, but arguably the dumbest thing you have said to date.
Sorry about the delays, I have not been in my tuning email for a few weeks now. I will check today and get everything taken care of.
At least we don't have 3 sets of failed turbos to the list of tuning accomplishments. JB4 owns all those records![]()
Uhhh, proof? I haven't seen any failures yet.
I'm on the Facebook stinger groups too and haven't seen any. The one posted yesterday was the guy from NYC bitching that he should have never bought the car and has been trying to sell it for months. I bet he hit something and cracked his oil pan... That Anthony guy that posted the dyno with white smoke pouring out of his exhaust found out that his timing cover gasket failed, not his turbos. Who's the other one?Yup they are on the Facebook stinger groups. 2 that I know of that have now blown turbos and had JB4 as a mod. Im assuming from too much boost. We are still waiting for final confirmation on the one that was reported yesterday, but it seems he is afraid of KIA service techs or someone else is requesting to remove his posts for now and hide things for now.

It's my fault, I need to stop reading this thread. It has become a "who's d*ck is bigger" thing. It really sours me on trying a piggy, a tune, a "insert something else here" period. I mean it would be nice if both tuners would just shut the f*ck up about "my record this", "my customer service that", and the "blah blah". How about you answer emails, work on your tunes/piggy/etc, and build a better product for the Stinger community?! If you love what you do (creating a performance product for cars...) do that. I figure the time you are spending talking sh*t on our site is wasting lots of time that could be used for more positive stuff. In any event, it just sours me. Oh well... rant off.
No, we have tuned "100's" of customersI'm not taking sides in this dick swangas contest, but just out of curiosity is Tonka the only customer you've tuned so far?
