Kill Tally

Guy in a second gen BMW 650i thought he had something. I just smiled at him as I closed a 3 car gap and walked away. His windows were tinted so I couldn’t see the look of surprise on his face. From what I see, those were rated at 362hp through a 6 speed manual

Wins:
Civic Si - two races. one 40 roll and one from a dig. He didn't stand a chance.
BMW 335i - from a roll. at least had an exhaust. I pulled away at a certain speed. I think he hit his limit.
Chevy Cobalt - gave him a head start and flew past him in eco mode. nothing impressive about this win haha
WRX STI - She (yes, she) kept up with me from a rolling start for a while, but I started to pull away eventually
Work truck with utility racks - not sure what this guy was thinking. but it was entertaining

losses:
none

A Merc CLS 350 was next to me at a stop light and was laughing with a friend, looked at me, floored it, I was in eco mode, floored it and flew past him. Was clearly embarrased cause he ran a red light at the next stoplight..

It's always hilarious when they get shaken up, but I also have become concerned with doing that. Twice I've left someone in such mental disarray that they are putting themselves and others in danger after they've lost. I think I have to gauge who I'm racing a little better in the future, lol... If I sense a real douchebag, it might just be best to leave them on Cloud 9 rather than take them down several notches.

So last night I was at the drive-thru and the worker asked me if my Jaguar had the V-6 in it. Does that count as a kill vs the Jaguar. ;)
Haha, only if the Outback curbside girl's "Tesla" and the UPS delivery man's "Maserati" count for me.

Had a guy in a debadged Focus ST come up behind me at a light. When we started out he was on my ass, wasn't racing at the time, pulled over after passing the truck, expected him to line up next to me for a roll but instead did a fly by. Next red light I pulled behind him. When the light turned green he hit it, once I got passed the car in the other lane I hit it and waved as I passed by. He never looked over after that or even came close to me the rest of the way down the road..kind of felt sorry for him.

I had someone in a newer Honda Accord 2.0T get feisty last night on my way home. I was coming home from work, subdued from being beaten down by corporate America, and did not pay a bit of attention to his boring white sedan sitting at the light next to me. We pull away slowly with my Borla singing its lovely tune and he pulls along side me for an oddly long amount of time. He must have gotten his fill of admiration from the Stinger because he then decides to take off, I guess he assumed his accountant-mobile had the upper hand until put my foot down.

I'm not sure why, but I come in contact with more Camrys that want to show out than anything more closely rated.

Earlier in the year I had a similar situation with a nice stealth grey focus RS (manual with exhaust + more maybe?). After messing around a bit in traffic, we both took the same exit and floored it around 30mph with him in front of me and I was passing him around 80mph. A dig race would have been better for him.

2 days ago on the way to work a guy in a newish MB 300/350? cut me off getting onto the HW, then he sped up when I changed lanes to pass him... I smoked him ha ha

There was a 2007 Nissan Maxima on the fast lane driving slowly so I flashed him with my high beams once and he floored his car with his exhaust farting cheap smoke, so I floored mine as well and beat him by a lot. GT-Line 2.0T, by the way.

It's a major gripe, when " snails " hog the fast/ overtaking lane

Only one person's challenged me in almost 2 years. I don't blame them it looks fast even when's she tucked up in asleep in the garage.20190717_153220.webp

Some guy in an Optima turbo wanted to see what I could do. No contest even with his fart can exhaust

As an accountant, I resent that statement and yet 100% agree

I've had about 10 races and haven't lost one, yet:

- Corvette C4
- Corvette C5
- Corvette C6
- Corvette C6 (yes, a second different one)
- Ford Lightning F150
- BMW 330i
- Mustang Ecoboost
- Tesla Model 3 Performance
- Mercedes E-Class (previous gen)
- Infiniti Q50 Sport

Most of those have short but fun stories and some obvious usual suspects had mods (the Mustang Ecoboost was probably around 400HP based on how he lost, and the Ford Lighting F150 was an older model but modded and sounded like actual, eargasmic combustion engine thunder... I couldn't hear my own car at all as I jogged his ass, lmfao), but I'm a lazyass who doesn't want to document every race. And of all of these, that Tesla Model 3 Performance was the closest race I've had so far: I literally inched away until it turned into a walk as we started exceeding freeway speeds.

What about y'all?
The C4, with the exception of the ZR1s, I can understand- as their 0-60 times are putrid. But the C5’s from ‘01 and up generally have us beat in 0-60 by 2-3 seconds and they are lighter, so it would be close. The majority of C6 Corvettes, however, destroy our 0-60 times by several seconds. You were clearly the better driver in these instances with the C5’s and 6’s, but whoever was driving those C6’s clearly don’t deserve to drive them.

I hear ‘ya... like the time I dusted some show-off in an RX8. After I smoked him at the line- I could see him in my rear view mirror...idiot had to be going 90-100 miles an hour on a 40mph road- just to quell his rage to overtake me. Its crazy...but you really do have to be careful who you race. Fools in snails will go insane when you remind them they’re in a snail.
