Well that was quick! Kudo's to Kia customer service. I was told it would be 4 weeks to get the map update on Friday and it was delivered by FedEx today.

Very happy with their customer service in Canada as well. Called them yesterday and will be getting the free nav update by Thursday. Had to pay for it upfront but KIA will be reimbursing via my dealership. Bought my Stinger in late February.

Just an update here, talked to Micah as others have suggested.

He gave me the option of buying the map update for download, then sending him a copy of my CC statement (with all the relevant information redacted, of course) and refunding the charge. Much faster option than getting an SDCard sent to me. So, this is an option for anyone who wants the download instead.

Installed the new map card today. Seemed to go fine but not really at all like the instruction pamphlet that came with the card. Anyone else notice that?

I just got mine, weeks ahead of what they told me to expect. I didn't like the pamphlet either. It said Stinger on the front but not on the inside. It felt like the Stinger was tacked on instead of being designed for it.

Called yesterday...got routed to Kia Premium and Micah picked up. He got the approval this morning to send me the update free of charge!

Is there a method for getting this free as I just called the premium number (855-542-7733) earlier in the thread and this lady was having no part of offering it for free. She said it is not covered under warranty and all map updates are paid. I don't recall her name but she was borderline rude.
