Maybe it’s the rear lights that are appearing to illuminate them? A phot should help. But the side reflectors aren’t illuminated.

You may have already seen this video by Brantford Kia, if you fast forward to 2.03 minutes in, you will see the side LED light im referring too, a factory fit, but maybe for Canada only ??

Never seen that before, mine definitely does not have that, possibly for the Canadian market as you mentioned.

I do have a copy which was posted on this forum a little while back but if I remember correctly it was for the left hand drive markets but most things would be the same. TBH I actually forgot I had it so now I don't need to run to the car, lol
