Did you find out about who makes the stinger door transfer?

can anyone share some advice on paint protection options namely ceramic coating vs film protection like the 3M product.

I'm not sure what product Kia uses for their paint protection film? offered at $395 the website description suggests theirs is only for front and rear bumpers and door handle cups where I'm looking for a whole of car solution.

I want to find a long term solution that actually works to prevent stone chips etc and does not detract from the vehicles appearance

If you want to rebadge to E logo and larger stinger rear badge you better not to buy the Kia protection film, the Kia protect film only design for the original Kia badge.

You can buy the ceramic coating from your dealer’s aftermarket sale department, my dealer provide the product from motor one, normally they ask for $1600, you can cut half price first, after they agree with $800, you can ask for 4 free tint window too, which I feel like a good package deal.

If you are going to get the ceramic coating make sure you do your rebadging first. I had mine done before I picked it up then removed the small stinger and rear Kia badges to find I had to go back to the dealer and have the rear polished and then recoated as you could see where the badges were.

Hi fellow owners,

The 2 Harman Kardon systems sub-woofers under the front seats of my GT don't seem to be doing much if anything? Even when playing hard rock music at high volume with bass equalizer settings increased I cant feel any vibration putting my hand on the sub-woofers while the door speaker are clearly working/vibrating.

The overall system sounds OK but not as punchy as I expected given the spec so I'm thinking I may just have an issue with my subs?

Before I take it back to the dealership to query can anyone else confirm if they can or can not clearly feel their sub-woofers pumping out sound?

Kia Customer Service tried to call me back but I missed the call so will try them again tomorrow. But again if anyone else can test their sound system and confirm if the sub-woofers under the front seats appear to be working or not as mine just seem completely dead with no sound/ vibration whatsoever.

While I was in the boot seeing if the amplifier behind the side wall could be easily accessed (which I now know it can't) I pulled out the space saver spare to have a look at it.

pictures do not do justice to the colour of this vehicle. It turned heads. Navigated her home safely. Tazz i cranked up the stereo with the base set to 10, and felt very faint vibrations from vent on the floor- assumed this to be the subwoofer, i assume the sub woofer is all ok? So many features to learn.
