• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Kia Stinger - Australia discussions (pre-release)

Try BMW Audi and Merc dealers , this is a common tire size for many of their cars , I know BMW use run flats but they may have a used tire that is compatible , the plug idea may work but a real tire would give you peace of mind . Hard to believe Kia cant rush a tire from Michelin !!!
Ours are Continental....

if you mean you're looking to replace the wheel cap badge I don't think you need to remove the original, just stick the new badge over the top of the original.

A pair of vice grips , crow bar and hammer would do it ! :D

The wheel cap only gives u less than 3mm high, 11mm wide to insert your tool, sadly I can’t find any right size tool at the moment, a flat head screwdriver is not good enough.

Never say never................................

Don't forget Kia's slogan......The Power To Surprise..........................

I would be happy to see them crack out another 50 HP fro th V6 , tighten up the suspension , would be an able competitor to the M6

I can't speak for what's happening in Australia, and I know that's where we are here in this discussion - but V8's are the equivalent to Satan's vegetable sandwich in the United States - so I will assume Kia isn't going to use a V8 strictly for sale in Australia. Here in the U.S., the V8 is on it's last leg - and the V6 is so close behind it can smell the ass of death. The 2.0T has taken over just about every V6 outside of one or two vehicles outside of some sort of "high performance" midsize sedan.

In other words, I'd bet my life on there never being a V8 Kia Stinger. Any "high" performance variant of the Stinger will be an upgrade to the turbos and supporting mods in the current version. Or, MAYBE, PERHAPS, the same V6 with forged internals and bigger turbos along with supporting mods. If they really wanted they could get 600+ reliable horsepower out of the current power-plant with EASE...

If you do it just take it easy driving it until you can get a new tire. Nothing to lose might not be entirely accurate. Catastrophic failure at speed is a possibility. (This is why tire shop won't plug it for you) the chances are pretty low as long as you do a good job, but it it fails and you're doing 80 mph, might cause a wreck, or might shred the tire and tear up the wheel well.

Someone earlier said it might be the law that prevents tire shops from fixing tires punctured near the sidewall. It isn't. Always follow the money. It is the insurance companies threatening to drop them or raise their policy price to unreasonable levels that is the cause.

I am looking for feedback on fuel consumption, the difference between 91 and 98. I have done 3100km at an average of 8.4litres/100 k which I thought was terrific the way I drive on 98.I get an extra 180km out of a tank of diesel ,the difference between truck diesel & car diesel in my suv. so I was wondering if there would such a difference between 91 & 98.
Anyone who has had tinting done noticed any distortion looking through the rear vision mirror and back window ?
