I dont know if its related but these days many people are selling their exhausts from other makers (JunBL/ARK/AJun/Meintek/Tunist/etc.)

hi, I recently got my hands on this info on the Australian Bi-Modal exhaust
I am not sure if this information has been posted here before or if any of it helps but it is 14 pages on pdf file and I hope it gives some the idea why at least is costly with all the work involved but if it is worth it or not to some not sure !
anyway I had mine installed when the car came of the boat and I am very happy with all of it and they done an excellent job, can't fault it and was worth it.
the bimodal definitely has more grunt note at idle and when on drive from the stock test driven Stingers I have driven, I do drive mostly on Smart mode and definitely comes wild and deep in Sport also with my Custom mode is set to Sport on every setting to get max on pipes.
I would say perhaps I get about 5 KWs extra boost and definitely feeling it that little more torque from the standard stock sound Stingers.
it would have been good if it came of the assembly line complete as is with the bi-modal now and I would have paid the top price on it rather as an extra and I do hope it will be stock standard to all next generation of stingers.

In korea there is a new exhaust that is getting a lot of attention. It is the RES titanium exhaust (catback with variable valve).
It costs about 4000usd so almost twice the price of other exhausts but it is said to sound very good and have absolutely zero drone (people say). Also, it is almost 20kg lighter than the stock exhaust.
Anyone heard of it in the US?

I got the answer: 60pi 50pi 63pi.
Is that small? I am no expert..

I believe most after market exhausts for the Stinger are 62.5mm (2-1/2") . I may stand corrected though.

You can set the exhaust valve to automatically stay closed under a certain RPM and open only when beyond that number. (e.g. 2500RPM)

Got it.
Makes sense. The exhaust is a 2.5" theoretically.
60pi is the size for the mid pipe section
50pi is the size of the section after the mid pipe until it reaches the valve.
63pi is the size of the section right after the valve on the mufflers (the difference can be seen in the photos posted)

That's the industry standard now (for other manufacturers of higher-end vehicles). RPM based, plus "manual" open at all times based on drive mode. Any bi-modal system I would pay a small fortune for would have to have that functionality.

SSR Performance is making a exhaust system and intake for the 3.3 first and then the 2.0. Possibly downpipes as well. Hopefully be in production ready to sell soon. Once I find out more I’ll let u guys know.

Definitely agree that the ARK sounds the best, but I would like for it to have an EVC version.
Also missing in those links is the Bastuk exhaust. One of my favorites so far.

Is the Bastuk exhaust available in the US? If so, anyone had it installed?

It is avaialble. However you will need to contact any of the vendors here in order for you to purchase it.
I think Tuscani Customs carries it.

I don't think this will come out for at least a few months. they're barely collecting 3.3TT's for R&D. I reached out to them to see if my car could be an R&D vehicle, but they took awhile to respond and I already got an exhaust so that disqualifies me for that portion. I am reaching back to see if they will consider me for the downpipe development if they continue that route...
