How can you tell if there is over spooling without it throwing a code? I have the jb4 on the most conservative map which is only +4psi with a taper to 2psi at higher rpms. I have the jun bl midpipes as well with a catback and haven't noticed any issues, but that could be because I'm using the most conservative map.No just the secondary Cats only , as it will throw codes as I have been told , so the Primary Cats are still on itI read comments from John with Tork Motors and , back in early 2018 they were testing different ways to tune the ECU s In these stinger GTs and as of yet a stage 2 tune is still not developed for full release , which I would hope took care of the over spooling, so for now I have as much of a upgrade to my Awd Stinger as it will handle with torque values over 500 ftlbs , so for me this why I asked the Stinger community if any others are having this over spooling after fully upgrading their Stinger GTs

Sounds like smokers' cough (lol)Any chance we can mod our Stingers to sound like this? This sound is amazing with the pop, cracks, burbles, you name it. This sound is leaps and bounds better than any exhaust I've heard for the Stinger. I need this. It's not a want it's a need. Enough for me to consider selling my Stinger and buying a used Audi RS3.
In my case, I deleted my CEL by ECU tune. Before I deleted it everytime it popped using JB4.I've been wondering what people are doing about cat deletes are they getting check engine lights or does anybody have they're tuned with that deleted out?
Have you had any troubles with over spooling or over boost since your ECU tuneIn my case, I deleted my CEL by ECU tune. Before I deleted it everytime it popped using JB4.
My tune only removes the CEL, it does nothing else. I didn't have any overspool before, so I don't have it after either.Have you had any troubles with over spooling or over boost since your ECU tune?? Mine goes into limp mode as I hit 3 k on a hard pull

I have to use my lower map to keep it running on my Race chip, but I have the June BL and Borla as well a FMIC , CAI and with this setup the DynoCom showed 356.5 whp and 503 ftlbs torque and I have no ECU tune as of yet which I believe would fix the problem with over spooling/ boostMy tune only removes the CEL, it does nothing else. I didn't have any overspool before, so I don't have it after either.
487whp on dyno but no overspool here.
Overspool usually happens when all cats are removed. It is because the wastegate opening must be adjusted for the too high air flow but this can't be done with piggybacks.
In my case I still have secondary cats and stock exhaust, maybe that's the reason why I see no overspool.(fingers crossed)
Torque is about 500. Transmission is fine.I wish I had that WHP that is over 100 whp more than mine , what is your torque values ?? I wish I could get a ECU time here I was waiting for Tork Motorsports to dues there stage 2 tune but still not finish I guesshere in BC Canada I have not found anyone who can tune my ECU ! How is your Transmission holding up with that whp ??
Correct. You can get an ECU flash to remove the CEL light.
xot1 is using a JB4 with WMI not a ECU tune to achieve that power.
Unfortunately we don’t have flash tuning available yet and only have two options at this point. A full ECU tune is a bench tune where the ECU must be removed and sent to the tuner to reprogram. Tork, Hydra and Pressertech are the only ones I’m aware of currently, and lap3, Kagantuned and few others are in the works. For now they just give one tuned map, but Kagantuned is working on an option to choose different maps which would be awesome. So I have a ton of learning here with the Kia ECU platform. I'm a Subaru guy so accessport or open source tuning was the way to go about tuning. There wasn't such a thing as a piggyback. So when you guys speak of ECU tuning are you talking about specific software that a tuner would need to use in order to connect into the ECU and download a new tuning map? How does this platform work. Instead of buying a piggyback setup I am in Utah at 4500 feet above sea level so tuning it to the altitude is a must. What do I do?
Torque is about 500. Transmission is fine.
I know several people who use more torque than me.
Correct.
Btw, when did you become a vendor?
