3.3TT Kia Stinger 3.3TT SSR Downpipes +30WHP / +26WTQ NO TUNE!!!!! Dyno Runs and Testing

Don't @ me lol, the stock catback and mid pipe combo will yield almost no audible exhaust note difference.

As for drawing attention from us, your exhaust isn't really what draws ire. If all we did was listen for exhaust the only tickets ever written would be on Hondas.
K thanks just going with junbl gt ver

With just the midpipes replaced and stock pipes, does it increase exhaust sound in cabin. I want to hear the exhaust in the car louder than the fake pumped in sound but not obnoxious loud Would these do it? I am interested in junbl gt or borla but think they may be too loud and dont want evc anymore.thanks

I just had my midpipes installed yesterday. And YES it makes the exhaust louder. I've only had about an hour's driving since it was done. But it's louder and has a rasp. I'm hoping the raspiness goes away. I've put adding soundproofing to the rear of the car on my to-do list.

Stock.

Wife's not been in the car yet. That's the real test. Of course, I change the drive mode to Comfort or Custom when she's in the car and that will help some.

If you get a chance could you vid from the inside driving. I know it's a big ask. So you would say it's a noticeable difference? As I said I want to hear. Would you say the sound is louder than pumped in fake exhaust sound?

If you drive the car every day, it's very noticeable, yes. I can tell the difference outside the car (well, with the driver's door open), as well, when blipping the throttle. Is it obnoxious? No. But if the rasp doesn't settle down, I'll be disappointed.

Without a before and after, I'm not sure a video will do any good, I'm afraid.

I tried to make a video but my mounting location for the phone muffled it pretty well. And the last half of the video is ruined by our crappy roads. I rolled down the window twice to try to help. First time was in the garage before I left, trying to get the increased growl with a bit of rasp. I hope to make a better one. But we're due for snow, so it may be a while.

Maybe it settled or maybe I just used to it, mid pipes since early January.

I could only hear the rasp early in the second video. I don’t have that on my car. Or at least I can’t hear it over my intake.

Are there any downpipes/Midpipes available for the 2.0L?

Short drive today. I was a few blocks away after leaving home when I realized it didn't catch my attention. I put another hour or so on the car over the weekend. I'll try to give it more of a drive tomorrow. But I'm either starting to get used to it or it's settled down.

Eddie ,
WhAt tune or Chip are you running with, and do you get any over boost which put it into limp mode for a bit ??
Hi Arnie - JB4 and no overboost issues granted I've only used Map2 since the change.

Have you done a few launches with your new Mods .. I have found my RS chip worked fine until I had the JunBL mid pipes added ,, mine pulled hard then went in to Limp mode , so I had to back the throttle off ,,perhaps with just axel back delete things may not flow as fast out as with a Cat back exhaust ,, I did have a muffler delete with resonators added after ,, but I believe the cat back release the exhaust quicker !
please let me know under hard throttle is does anything weird ,, thx in advance :)

Replace the Muffle delete with the Borla Type S cat back ,, :(

I have been debating between Junb L and SSR downpipe (now realizing from this thread that the SSR diameter is slightly bigger??!)

I( everyone still overly happy with several months of their DP on the car (with oem exhaust;)) ?
