A93EBF6B-189A-4C2C-A090-DE433C8DA136.webp Beat my best 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile run today. Wish I had 1/4 of a tank it or less to save some weight but I’m still happy with this. I installed bms intakes and it helped with my times and trap speed.

Getting better! Not bad for a heavy car. :)

What are the mods? Jb4 and intake?

Something interesting to note is that all the JB4 equipped vehicles used 19-21psi maps to achieve their results.

The Lap3 ProTuned cars all used a 1.3bar(18.8psi max) map.

Does anyone know what the tork ECU tune uses?

What I like seeing is minimal mods with maximum performance :)

stage 0 - 16psi

stage 1 - 18psi

stage 2 - 21-23psi

As has been posted that's news to me and I wrote the maps, lol.

Just using the list and referencing the map each person used to obtain said results. And from what I understand, the boost JB4 displays is voltage based reading and not entirely accurate. More a guesstimate so I understand it's hard to see real numbers on your end.

A mechanical gauge would solve that.

Also news to me. JB4 displays boost pressure, correctly zerod out for ambient pressure, from both pre-throttle and post-throttle boost sensors.

If you are giving the ECU a false signal, how do you know what you're actually pushing ?

Are you just simulating boost based on each maps calibrated levels. By that I mean , map X with stock 14psi+4psi=18psi so they see max of 18? Etc... I'm truthfully trying to understand how you read it with having a digital vac reading sender unit.

We read boost right off the two boost sensors before it's sent back to the ECU.

The current map set is what we refer to as "additive" maps meaning a boost profile is requested over the stock levels. Stock boost profile will vary based on IAT, baro, and other factors. So in a simple format if stock boost is 9-12psi peak, and the JB4 is requesting say 5psi peak on map2, then the actual boost range is 14-17psi. But often boost "under targets" the request as we're not directly increasing WGDC beyond the factory table range. Yet.

But OEM boost levels are proven to be 13.87+ psi. Tonka confirmed this earlier in the thread. Both on RWd and Awd.

So if your map reference guide is correct, so is my 19(18.87)-21psi comment.

The JB4 lets you record your boost levels on map0 (stock) so there is no need to take anyones word for it. I didn't see anywhere near 14psi stock on ours even in warm weather. Others can share their map0/stock logs for reference. The JB4 log also shows ECU_PSI which is the boost output to the ECU so you can track what it's seeing, which we've confirmed exactly matches OBDII boost readings when properly zeroing out ambient pressure.

A couple logs we have posted in one of our dyno threads. Really hot day (95F) with ECU running boost at the top of its limit, stock boost around ~12psi, boost on map5 maxing out at ~18psi.

When I was at the dyno on map 2 they hooked in a boost sensor and they said I was making around 20 psi.... I thought I heard there is a specific spot on the car that you had to take boost reading from or it would be off.

The plot thickens! I'm pretty certain i have also seen Lap3 pro dynos showing 21 PSI.

Not on any car on the 1/4 mile list and the only car running 21psi is doing so with the ECU tune and Meth using the ProTuner for boost etc..
