I guess from mod stand point that would prove useful. I still wouldn’t want to see more than 10 in each category.
The boost / vacume gauge is just the difference of absolute intake pressure minus barometric pressure (in psi) so it is "zeroed out".There is no easy solution there as to what is fastest overall, octane is also a factor. You will definitely want to evaluate the tuning under warmer weather also. Since the ECU is load based if not set properly the boost could climb much higher than expected as temperature does. Tuning is a multi-dimensional puzzle.
In terms of boost I'm not familiar with your logging tool, it may or may not be accurate in the logs, depending on the specific sensor being logged and whether it's zerod out for absolute boost numbers. What does the value read with the engine off, ignition on, for example?
Sounds good, ill expand back up to 5 for each on my next update. Thanks for keeping an updated list!
Since so many runs are within 0.1 of each other why not make it top 5 for each group? I think it will help having more cars listed by showing what upgrades achieve better times.![]()
Did you install Primary lap 3 DP....any issues ....review.....????
i have not seen it can you include the link...install difficult...issues etc...I did. I'll update another post with it.
Technically speaking Tonkabob must be making more power if he's trapping about the same speed but with more drivetrain power lossThat trap speed is straight power. 118 MPH in the 1/4 on the street must feel awesome on the tip in/pass.

This one looks nearly identical to yours for slopeHe had a much larger slope on his back end and colder weather, I expect you'll see his traps drop back in to the 116mph range once slope is sorted. And I expect to see 119mph with ours soon.![]()
Ah that's right, I forgot the whole discussion about dragy allowing slope as long as the start and finish are the same. Was your run with wmi and 93 oct?He had a much larger slope on his back end and colder weather, I expect you'll see his traps drop back in to the 116mph range once slope is sorted. The real challenge with RWD even with drag radials is still getting good traction when it's really cold out. Tried a run in 50F weather and was spin city. Let it warm up to 70F and traction was good enough for the 12.18. That's where a real track comes in handy with a prepared launch surface and potentially really cold weather. Unfortunately there are no good tracks close, Famoso is 2hrs away and rarely open anymore. We're taking some of the faster cars out next month though, maybe we'll get someone to bring the Stinger along.![]()
Great improvement so far and nice to see you & JB4s are the 3rd quickest RWD Stingers.Traction is definitely improved with the drag radials. It's going to take a 1.90 60' to get in the 11s I think at this power level. Will retest when the front rims show up.![]()
