Second trip to track. Here is one of my three runs.

Very nice run and congrats on the Vette kill! 12.8@110mph for AWD is impressive. Those traps are even 5mph faster than the new Jeep SRTs we were talking about! Did you change anything this run?

I used the Jb4 on map 2

Not seen a log like that before. It looks like the factory diverter valves blew open post shift to me as boost bleeds off then recovers. I'll have to throw the stock ones on our development car later and see if I can recreate it. We've got the BMS Tial BOV kit on ours right now.

I think I can get my time into the high 12.7s with an empty tank. Interested in hearing of other folks times with a bone stock GT2 on a positive slope run. Just as exciting was on that run my 0-60 time was 4.53s.

With times this quick not sure if I will bother going with a piggyback chip as I haven’t heard of many times much faster with only a chip. I’m not interested nor do I want to put the money into modifying everything for faster times, because I might as well buy a faster car.

Great run for a stock GT2 and thanks for posting.

Terry’s stock Stinger with just a JB4 ran a 12.4 so the chip easily drops 0.4-0.5 off acceleration times. 12.3 with intakes and believe he’d hit 11s with just bolt-ons. So for only about $1k you can make the Stinger faster than just about anything else you could buy in our price range. Im not aware of another new car that can hit 11s for under $40k, but I get your point and our Stingers are quick enough as is...for some at least.;)Lol

Have you ever taken it to an actual track?

Very nice times for stock. Agree that with a chip or Tune you are down to 12.4s, maybe 12.3s at sea level and you will certainly feel the difference.
If this is your dragy you already have the fever and will be doing mods!

Plus at 12.84 you are fast but just a bit slower than a bunch of other fast cars. BMW 5s and 3s 12.8ish, real world times for mustang 12.6, Hemi Challenger 12.7, Vette 12.5.
Just think of the possibilities!

I'm happy to have joined this forum and appreciate all the feedback. It's good to hear that just the chip alone could improve 1/4 mile times by up to 0.5s. If it could do that, then I would be interested. I still have reservations around reliability and longevity of the engine when using a chip. From the other stinger site a poll was taken and the majority of folks were using either the Lap3 or RaceChip chip, but I'm hearing more and more users using the Jb4 chip. I need to do more research on that one. My track results were dismal at 13.15 and 13.20. I believe it was due to the heat of 86% and the track surface, however the times were a very close approximation to my dragy results. Love the dragy and I would highly recommend for only $150 on Amazon.

I will do a couple of more runs on that same private road with an empty tank of gas and I believe I can get into the high 12.7s. Once I do that I will have my fastest time for my stock car and then going forward if purchase the chip I will test it on the same road, same weather, same fuel, etc... and I will be able to make a real-world comparison. I like the fact that the chips have a 30-day money back guarantee.

Any other folks here in NorCal that run out to Sonoma Raceway?

Wow, I guess I will cross JB4 off my list. Almost $43k for taxes seems a little high. LOL. Oops, I think this might be a mistake.

Ya know, I'm slowly going to become the resident dickbag for saying stuff like this, but...

BRO, 13.15/13.20 are not at all a "very close approximation" to 12.84, lol
