Holy smokes, that's pretty robust. Do you notice much of a difference in your 0-60 based on your settings or is it really just to squeeze out every tiny drop to keep pushing the record?Compression and rebound front and rear seperatly and by mph.

I got Mando more for handling. I'm AWD so weight transfer is less or questionably useful than for RWDHoly smokes, that's pretty robust. Do you notice much of a difference in your 0-60 based on your settings or is it really just to squeeze out every tiny drop to keep pushing the record?
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I had a feeling it would mostly be helpful for handling. Maybe if I ever get a chance to play in some autocross courses, I'll invest in the Mando.I got Mando more for handling. I'm AWD so weight transfer is less or questionably useful than for RWD
Can you elaborate?I leave mine at 3 psi. Jb4 also requires 60% pedal and 50% throttle so those bars are harder to hit than the 3 psi.
The JB4 has 3 requirements for meth to flow. The user set PSI, 50% throttle and 50% pedal. Recently the 50% pedal was upped to 60% pedal and those 2 are not configurable. When you push the pedal moderately under semi aggressive driving you hit 3 PSI way before 50% throttle or 60% pedal so having 3 PSI vs 8 PSI for meth doesn't impact daily driving much but will allow the meth to come on sooner at WOT.Can you elaborate?
I have 2 identical modified Stingers (3.3TT, AWD, 2018) and recently noticed a significant drop in performance in both of them. I measure 0-100 km/h acceleration using Dragy, without Launch Control (so let’s say acceleration for the daily driving).
Initial mods: JB4, fuel wires, HKS plugs, BMS intake, aftermarket exhaust, ECS-10 Mando, TSW Bathurst light wheels (stock Continental tires, 19” staggered).
Both cars were pretty quick, and I hit repeatable times around 4.8 sec (4.71 sec best, always below 5 sec sec) 0-100km/h, map2, no LC. The temperature was from 6-16 degrees Celsius. European 98 octane fuel
Meanwhile there were firmware upgrades which I installed (I am running firmware version 19_T3 right now).
I’ve installed Mishimoto catch cans, Einbach sway bars and EWG connectors for JB4 pretty recently.
I've recently measured acceleration of both Stingers and I was hardly able to hit 5.25 sec (usually above 5.30 sec on map 2, EWG standard settings recommended by Terry. I could hardly close to 5.2 sec on map3) – times were very much repeatable for both Stingers. The temperature was around 22-24 degrees Celsius.
I sent JB4 logs to Terry but they looked OK for him. Nonetheless the cars are performing poorly. It looks like there is a long hesitation on start, but numbers are slower afterwards as well. I’ve even tried to use upgraded Shell V-power 100 octane fuel (European standard) but with no improvement.
I decided to check different options:
- JB4 on MAP0 (so disabled) : both cars were around 0.5 sec slower (they hit around 5.6 sec ! 0-100 km/h) so it seemed that the JB4 was working.
- Then removed newly added components like the EWG, JB4 new soft (I returned to 13), uninstalled the catch can and even totally removed the JB4/fuel wires etc. The car hit repeatable around 5.3 sec with JB4 with old gear and 5.6 sec with the jb4 removed.
Do you have any idea, suggestions what the problem might be? I would consider a problem with turbo (although there are no any indications of that) or other factory problem but it is highly unlikely for two cars at the same time. Traction seems to be ok, no wheelspin.
Sorry, if I placed this in the wrong thread but could not find any other more suitable.
OK, will reach out, thanksI would speak with Will Hatzer on the Stinger Facebook performance page. He can definitely sort you out.
Kagantuned just took the #1 0-60 spot with a 3.31 even while going uphill on an almost 7% incline.
This is on just standard 93 octane and only mod is a HFC downpipe. Stock intakes, exhaust and secondary cats. Amazing, and he’s just getting started.

I'm hoping he found a way to get a launch like that without the brake snip mod. Super hard launches sound awesome, but I'd prefer to not have to disable other systems in order to get it to work. If it was baked into the ECU flash, that would be awesome!Wonder what he’s doing to get such a great launch

Yeah he had delays due to Covid and had to wait until exhaust shop near him opened to install the DP. But he recently started working on his Stinger again and will run with CAIs next.Wow, what a time! I didn't think he was still working on the platform...

Yes it’s baked into the ECU tune and not using the brake switch. He worked for a while fine tuning the parameters for launches and made several adjustments to rpm, boost, throttle opening, etc. to maximize power while limiting loss of traction.I'm hoping he found a way to get a launch like that without the brake snip mod. This interests me (as does tork). Is he in development or is he doing It for customers as well. Thats a hard launch what if anything is it being stressed or a potential concern. Maybe someone above my pay grade can chime in. Wonder what Tork thinks, to bad @Tonkabob is selling. I can’t wait to see what he can do with intakes and/or e30 and hope he can find some flat ground.![]()
Wait, what?! @Tonkabob is selling? What's he moving to?... to bad @Tonkabob is selling. A little competition in the platform is good.
That is a ripping 0-60 time from Kagander but I've never seen a Stinger that doesn't show the Gs drop for the 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift. I'm very very very very suspect. The turbo spool is also very slow, also un stinger like. This is going in the hoax bucket for me.
