Man your not joking! I think I clean the grill more than I do the car. I'm half tempted in taking them out, cleaning the ever living crap out of them and then spraying them in clear lacquer.

Or maybe a hellacious wax job on the black chrome rim?

Anyone Flat Black the large stinger badge for the rear? I ordered mine along with the black door catch covers for my red GT. I'm kinda torn between leaving it chrome or spraying it flat black before I do the rebadge. If anyone did it, especially on red, I'd love to see what it looks like.

Flat black but not on red.

Just a quick update on my front silver and black badge. I'm starting to experience some places where the glue isn't sticking at the tops and bottom due to the contour difference between the emblem and the front of the car itself where it goes.

Still don't regret the badge and it is holding on strong. I noticed the contour issue before attaching the badge knowing if the glue wasn't strong enough to hold I'd pull it back off and curve the badge at some point.

Area the badge was placed was cleaned with 99% medical grade alcohol and air dried before adhesion, but I noticed it was quite a push to get a full stick.

Is that the chrome Kia Motors badge with vintage K logo?

Okay. Good to know. So either there's going to be a way to make this thing work - or I'm going to stop selling it. What would you suggest? Perhaps adding a bit of clear silicone to the top and bottom? Or a thin layer of double sided tape? People really seem to like this one - but if it doesn't stick on securely, I can't suggest anyone buy it. So far, others seem to have had more success. But we're all driving the same car. So if it doesn't work for one person, chances are, it's only a matter of time it doesn't work for everyone else...

The gap isn't massive, just enough to keep the bottom and top edges of the oval of tape from adhering. A bit of double thickness tape as the stuff already on the badge to add to the outer edges would probably solve the issue.

Alternative that is to go ahead and break the pins off (mine didn't align to the bumper to I did anyways) and heat contour the badge a bit, which is a pita if your not careful, given it is plastic.

When it's daylight I'll get you some close ups of the gapping.

I don’t know. I like idea of the Porsche I dust off the line clearly seeing it was a Kia that spanked him.

Could the back of the badge be contour sanded, to conform to the curve on the front of the car? That badge does have a nice look, and I like the idea of still clearly showing the car is a KIA product instead of the mystical 'E' designation ...

That looks like a job for a little silicone. Otherwise water is going to get beneath the badge and potentially weaken the rest of the double-side tape. I guess a little extra double-sided tape might work as well. Let me know what you come up with because I'd like to add information to my store page...

Does anyone know if the blue Kia Motors circular badge like that too?

Out of about 10 blue Kia Motors badges sold, I haven't seen or heard anyone mention this...

Mine sits flush (I think). Are the blue the same size as the silver?

I'll have to take a closer look later.

I can see from the pictures (thanks @Killa200) that trying to contour the back would be futile as the badge edge is too thin. Might be able to make/adapt a contoured plastic washer (a thin one) to fit underneath as a spacer.

I have my front badge. Just waiting for a hot southern day to do it. I am a little worried because of the all the paint chips I have. I am worried that the paint already has issues and I will ruin my paint around the badge.
