Can anyone confirm if the holes on the rear hatch will work with the circular OEM “E” badge? I’d like to places the same badge on hood and rear but want to be sure the rear holes will be covered. In many video the look as though the spacing of the holes is much wider than the hood.

Thanks for the input!

I can't confim 100% but it should be. But you Need to grind down the Pins on the rear I guess

Thanks @Schpok - very helpful image.

Taking it in for Ceramic coating tomorrow and want them to rebadge before hand. Just trying to sort things out so I don’t get an awkward call from the shop that would delay things. Don’t want to be without the car a minute more than I have to be!

Keeping the KIA. That ends any troubles before they begin.

Yes, I did it to my Stinger. The circular E emblem will cover the holes on the hood AND on the rear. However, all 3 of the pins in the circular E emblem will need to be removed before you place them on the rear. No need to grind any pins down. Just use a pair of pliers, twist, and the pins break off cleanly from the back of the emblems.

I don't know about the holes. But be very careful on removing the front Kia emblem it seems to me a lot of people had problems with the paint when they removed the front emblem be careful have patience .

I just completed the rebadge. Removed all 3 at the rear and added the Stinger script. E badges on wheels and at the front.

Just using the floss and credit cards to prise off was okay - no paint issues. Scraping the glue off was tougher work than I thought it would be though - took quite a bit of intense scraping and a lot of goo gone spray.

I'm glad I did it though - looks great with a bit of mystery as to what you are driving!

The script at the rear was much easier to line up than the videos suggest - the backing paper is outlined and also marked for the centre. had no issues at all with it.

Did you use heat at all?
