Kia Badging - Keep it or Ditch it?

Wow, from the earlier image it was so black I had no clue it was recessed in the middle. I thought it was just smooth like the E badge. I still like it though, order placed. Looking forward to installing that and the rear Stinger script. Now I just need a Maryland themed license plate frame.

Please keep us posted on this with pictures, if possible. Next week I’ll be deciding between and signing for my GT2 either in black or ceramic.

Part of my decision lies on my options with this front badge swap. I refuse to keep it stock and completely debadging sounds rather painful.

I’m also curious how the chrome will look next to the black chrome on the grill. Hopefully it won’t clash?

Somebody just placed a third order. I have a feeling this is going to be a popular option. I certainly don't sell E's this quickly...

Because no one understands what the hell E means. I get that they have it in Korea, but in America you may as well have a badge with a stylized Q or an L. I really don't get Kia's reasoning for A. having such a bad main logo to begin with then B. creating a new logo for a couple of models but only rolling it out in a few places.

The only reason people are using the E is because it actually looks pretty cool. It really might as well be a W...

I'm creating a new take on the K and hopefully people will like it...

Thanks. Well the original badge was largely chrome/silver. IMO it stands out nicely against the black gloss paint, while not contrasting badly with black chrome grille. I do see what you are saying though

On another note, the chrome Kia emblems - I received two more today and another few should be arriving soon.

Unfortunately, the two that came today are more like mini hubcaps than badges. I'll post a picture tomorrow. But those two are a bust. Hopefully the next batches I receive are the proper product...
