K&N drop in filter (3.3TT)

Welp, K&N is refunding me some money. I paid $12 to get one day shipping instead of having to wait 11 days for their free shipping (seriously, 11 days K&N?! I've received packages from the U.S. to Afghanistan in 5 days! Yes, I'm an impatient borderline millennial).

Anyway, K&N didn't turn the package over to UPS until the next day. And UPS has rescheduled delivery twice!

They've agreed to refund the shipping charge and I guess I'll get the filters whenever UPS decides to play nice.
Hmmm I got free shipping and it's arriving tmr for me and I ordered on Tuesday?

You're only a couple states away from them. The website said with free shipping I would get mine on April 12th. (North Carolina)

Ahh makes sense. On the interwebs I think we are all neighbors...

Interesting.

I ordered yesterday, got a ship notice last night. Today it shows:

March Air Reserve Base, CA, United States 04/05/2018 12:16 A.M. Departure Scan

Yesterday UPS rescheduled the delivery and said it would be delivered today. They said a storm in Kentucky was causing the delay, even though the package hadn't been picked up in CA yet.

Today I got a notification saying a mechanical failure in both San Bernardino, CA and Louisville, KY is causing a delay and the package will be delivered tomorrow.

It's not really a big deal. At least K&N is giving me the money back.

Here's what the stock paper filters look like if anyone is wondering.

I think we all might have a problem...filter 33-5067 isn't for our car. It's rectangle. I'm going to call them and see what's up.

*Edit. Correction: they put filter 33-2272 (Ford Crown Victoria/Mecury Grand Marquis) in my 33-5067 box.

Hopefully everyone else's is right.

*Edit 2. Though K&N have provided a sub-par experience to me they are at least trying to make it right. They are overnighting me the correct filter and told me to just trash the other one.

They look correct.. I won’t know for sure until I get my car back from Napleton... It may be a month before I get it back

Are yours the right ones?? Mine get here Tuesday.

The side of the filters should have the model number. If they match what's on k&n website you should be fine.

I think someone was drunk when they packed my box.

Add to my list!

I've put K&N on just about all my vehicles for years, might as well keep doing so.
Thanks for the info...

I hope they send the correct ones- it happens!

--- Are you guys having to pull the strut braces to get at the filters, or able to work with them in place?
Probably will order a catback exhaust shortly too.

Am thankful for those blazing the path ahead- as we all tweak our stingers. Us early adopters will make a few mistakes as we learn, and the tuners will too. Getting some things wrong is part of getting things right...

Got my filters in yesterday and installed them today. Took less than 5 min. Annoying that I had to remove the structural braces to make enough room to take the intake cover off.

More importantly I need to know where to add my stickers to gain that extra 50 HP...
