You can the switch on/off (open/close) at anytime.

I have mine installed but have a faulty actuator valve. I have a replacement on the way so I’m not able to give my review/feedback on the exhaust yet as one of the valves is stuck closed.

So far I'm inclined towards JunBL exhaust but I can't decide between the Racing or the GT set-up. And I want to couple it with the downpipes. Anyone here tried the catback and downpipe combo from JunBL? Also what's the main difference between the Racing and GT catback?

I don’t have either but someone indicated they returned the racing one because of very bad drone.

I do have the Jun BL racing exhaust and it does have a significant drone. I would assume that it would bother most folks, but I'm always into it, so I'm good with it. If you don't like loud, don't buy the racing version.

I don't mind some drone. Did you managed to listen to the GT version yourself? I'm curious on a loudness scoring of 1-10, where will the racing and GT stand? With the stock version at 1 scoring.

I’m thinking of ordering the jun evc. Would you guys share more thoughts and reviews? Do you guys think it’s worth getting the evc or would the gt be ok since it’s not to loud. FYI my car has jun dp already. And I’m also wondering for you guys with downpipes and the jun do you get a raspy metal sound at lower rpm with heavy load?

I ordered my evc yesterday will be here Tuesday and will be installed Saturday. Jun has a new sport evc as well that’s cheaper. It’s only one muffler per side and it’s deeper and louder. I ended up going with the dual muffler option as I think it’s the volume I was and the video on YouTube the sport does not sound great with muffler valve closed. Do any of you guys with the jun evc and downpipes have any videos with the valve closed? There’s two vids on YouTube but they do not have downpipes installed.

Here is the new sport evc. I would say this car has downpipes installed as well and you can hear the turbos. I was tempted to get the sport but I think it will have much more drone with valve open and I plan on driving mostly with valve open.

That doesn't sound too different from the jun evc that I have installed. Jun downpipes will be here Monday and I'll try to get the installed by the end of next week. Hopefully it doesnt affect drone too much with the valves open.

Right now in casual mode with the valves open there is a slight drone at lower rpms, but in sport once the car is warmed up there is none at all. Once you let off the gas there are some gurgles too which I hope the downpipes enhance just a bit more, lol.

I’m sure it will, I have jun downpipes installed with oem catback and I get gurgles and some cool sounding pops but they are quiet.

Just installed non evc gt exhaust. Also have ssr downpipes.
I can confirm gurgles get more pronounced. Its loud as hell..and gurgles more obvious. I'd imagine the evc version would do the same

Did a 10 min drive only. I think it sounds great, but way louder than I expected.
It sounds deeper in a good growling sort of way if that makes sense. Good combo w downpipes. I just wasnt expecting it to be so loud being the gt version. Will get used to it.

I have the Jun evc with the Jun downpipes. The downpipes make it sound louder. Personally I think the Jun sounds the best and I've had more than one person say the same thing But everyone has their own opinion..

It’s so hard buying a new cat back with out hearing them in person. You comment made me feel better about getting the jun evc. Im getting more excited for Saturday every hour. It’s going to be a long week.

You are right, it does sound better in person I have a video that sounds better than Jun's video. Are you installing it yourself ?

I have the jun downpipes already. I’m paying a shop to install it.
