Oh, FYI you purchase them direct from KDMwarehouse now.
I also did E badge swap at same timePXL_20210320_025412794.webp

It feels a little faster, but I installed them before I broke-in the engine, so was not getting too hard into the car yet when it was stock.

After seeing first hand how restrictive the stock intakes are, these have to be a good step up. For $230 between the intakes and filters, i think it is well worth it! Bumper removal was even easier than I thought it would be.
Thanks! I am worried about bumper removal but sounds like i should go for it

Removing the bumper is very easy. Yeah the first time I did it I was a little hesitant but it was smooth sailing after that.

Ditto on the bumper removal, very easy. Here is what mine looked like before replacing the bumper after putting the scoops on.

They bolt on using the bolts that held the original air intake on. Just don't over tighten them, it is just 3-d printed plastic.

Excellent! So do these just “click on” to the existing air box opening? Or how do they attach?
You need to take the rubber seal off the old intake inlets, and put them on the scoops (fitment is not exact so it takes some finagling to get it on good),

Then you simply slide them into the same factory holes you removed the old intake inlets from and re-use the factory bolts.
As I and rpoffen said, it is 3d printed plastic so get it tight enough that it is snug and will not move, but don't over-tighten.

Before that, you will need to remove or cut the original black shroud. I opted to cut mine, others have just left it off with no ill effects.

I left my shroud out, put it on the shelf in case I have cooling problems when it warms up (hasn't been above 50 deg here for the last few weeks), but no one else I have seen on these forums has noticed any issues with leaving it out.

Would love to buy some. Tried to get them on the website. Would like a different body color. White with red tips but said put it in the notes section of the order. Never found that. Anyone know how to order different then black? Thanks.

Do you mean less rectangle or less bold? i am pretty happy with my oem looking ones. Can't even see them from the front
I mean something that compliments the shape/style of the stinger. Mustangs have these aftermarket triangle lights that are easily distinguishable when you see them pulling up. I'd want a light that instantly makes you know it's a stinger. Either way, I think the scoops look cool, I'm going to get some soon.

Just send a message to Sal. I think I have a set ready to ship.

Hey @Rakker just worked through this whole thread in anticipation of getting my scoops today (out for delivery right now yeeeeeeeee!!!!) for install support. I'd just suggest you add a note somewhere on the store that the dark red are the ones that match the brembo red. I went with red tips because I have the Aurora Black and the red brembos are a nice accent, but now I'm bummed that there was an option that would have matched better.

So maybe just a note for future customers.

EDIT: lmao dang I'm confused now, my order says Red, but the note in the box says Dark Red. I DONT KNOW WHAT I HAVE, RAKKER HELP LOL!

Here's a custom shape, always preferred it over the plain rectangles. They are not available though.
