So @Hyperjetta inspired me to try to make 3D printed snorkels, figured why not give it a try since I've been working from home lol. So here what I've got so far. They're similar in style to the Velossa's and printed as one piece. These would require you to take off the shroud around the radiator or cut a fairly large hole in it. I'm still tweaking the design a bit but thought I'd share what I've been doing and see what you guys think.

I've had these on for a few weeks now and they seem to be holding up well. These are printed using PETG as it can withstand higer temps and is durable but doesn't have warping issues like ABS has. Part of these are printed using a silver color to match the ceramic silver color of my stinger. I'll try to get some pictures with the front put back on.

Great Minds, I'm in the middle of making some as well, had some extra time, a lot less now so i've slowed down. I'm doing mine in 2 pieces so we can keep the shroud with a minimal hole. Yours look great, I can attest they take a long time to design and make.

Thanks! Good luck on yours.

Looks awesome. Are you going to be selling and do you happen to have a phot of the part that needs to be cut.

Yeah I'll sell them. They take about 22 hours to print each so I'd sell the pair for $100 shipped or $115 shipped if you want a different colored tips or the full piece in something other than black. As for cutting the shroud, I'd recommend just taking it off because I dont know if youd be able to cut a big enough hole in it to fit them through. It's pretty easy to take off. Here is a picture of it.

Damn that's a long time. Good price though. No way I'd spend the $300+ for the other ones. It'll pair up nicely with the AEM intakes I just ordered.

Yeah I couldn't drop $300 for the other ones either lol. Send me a PM if you want a set.

Here's one I did with a red tip for a guy on here. Also a pic with the front end on.

These look nice and have a good price but how beneficial would they be with an Injen intake?

Thanks. I think the benefit would be similar for all intakes. The stock setup is pretty restrictive in getting air into the intake. Take a look at this video.

Rakker. How much would you charge for a pair if I pick it up from you since you are not far from where i live.

@Rakker hey is it direct fitment or is there some trimming required?

As in trimming of the snorkels? No trimming is needed for them. You just take the rubber gasket off the stock and put it on mine and then bolt it on in 2 places. You do however have to either remove or cut a hole in the shroud that goes around the radiator. Honestly I dont think that does a whole hell of a lot so I'd just remove it. The video here explains it pretty well More 3D Printed Snorkels

Finished my first set for a guy on here.

These look awesome! I'm a bit of a noob though, and unfamiliar with radiator shrouds... could someone please explain the pros & cons of permanently removing it on our car? or link a resource? Thanks!

Thanks. It's debatable how well that shroud affects your car's ability to keep temperatures vs not having it. I haven't seen any increase in water temp since having it removed and I think others have said that on here as well. If you're car is moving there's going to be plenty on air hitting your radiator. If you're not moving then that shroud isn't going to help anyways. You don't have to remove it completely and just cut a hole in it.
