Just pick up a pair of Snorkels from Rakker. It took me about two hours to install. The workmanship on the pair are absolutely outstanding and they fit perfectly. I was communicating with him during the installation and he provided great help. If any one looking for a set of Snorkels with good quality and reasonably priced . Rakker is the one.

I know this has been discussed before, but has anyone shown a performance increase with these?
If so I would love to get a set. These do look sex AF though!!

I do feel the car is much smoother under hard acceleration after installed. It's well worth the money to me.

I'm sure there has to be some data out there but if you just take a look at the stock setup it's crazy how restrictive it looks and going to this type of setup will definitely get more air to your intakes. If you're interested just shoot me a PM.

It's better just simply remove the shroud instead of cutting a big hole on both side. It will save you lots of time. i did mine in 2 hours.

For the Velossa you are only required to cut, I am sure it serve a purpose therefore removing the whole thing is probably not the best solution, no ?

Not necessarily, I haven't noticed temps running higher at all. If the car is moving your not going to have any problem getting plenty of air flow across the radiator. And if you're not moving that shroud isn't going to help anyways. I'm still planning to cut a hole in my shroud to check fitment, just been busy with other things. Might be able to get to it today though.

When will you do the install ? if you do it yourself, can you take a picture of how much shroud will need to be cut :)
thanks !!

Here's with the shroud cut. Over it wasn't difficult to do. Used a dremel and took about 10 minutes to cut that one side.

I can do any color you want but i may have to order the filament and it could take 3-4 days to get. Right now I have black, red, silver, and white. What color you thinking?

yeah, at that level of shroud cutting you really may as well just take it off.

For what it's worth, i think the shroud does serve some purpose when it's hot, the car is not moving and the radiator fan is on. there's a bit of space between the fascia and radiator, intercooler, and other bits. To me, the shroud appears to direct outside air through the radiator rather than hotter air trapped there, coming from engine compartment. once you're moving, it should make no difference temp wise. I've been doing some logging on intake temps with the ducts and without, and once you hit 60+, not much difference.
