So everything seemed to be okay seemed pretty strong. Then I noticed it seemed that power was down a bit. Then I start getting erratic jumping around with the transmission searching for the right gear under full throttle. Then I get no power no boost, under full throttle it just doesn't seem like anything's happening like it's in limp mode. I have zero codes as far as the jb4 shows, no CEL lights coming on, what the hell is going on?

I thought I had it on that map1 and would be okay and realized I must have hit map 2 by accident. Regardless even map one nothing no power, same s*** engine jumping all over the place transmission trying to find gears.

Leslie why does the jb4 start logging even though I don't hit start log. And then won't stop logging when I tell it to

No idea. But if you wind up needing technical support feel free to email in. Sounds like some sort of loose connection.

Yeah I sent you guys some logs for tomorrow to look at. Just hoping somebody out there would know what is going on, that possibly the plugs are shot already in short amount of time all connections are good they all look strong and connected properly.

Issue comes up on map 0?

If so just unplug JB4 to see if it's even related. Takes 2 minutes.

Just ran the stock map, Map 0 on the JB4. All seem to be fine. I will do this again and log it, then I will do this running map 1

So I disconnected the intake manifold sensor and the map sensor. Plugged in the stock centers pulled the OBD2 plug as well essentially removing the jb4 completely. I did leave in the O2 sensor wires. Now the car barely runs, check engine lights came on the whole shebang, feels like I'm running on two cylinders.. is there something else I'm missing here?

Completely disconnect the JB4 - as in, remove EVERYTHING (O2/fuel wires, IAT, MAP, and OBDII connections) - if you're using O2 extension harnesses remove those as well - then see how it runs.

If it runs like normal, then reinstall the JB4, double check all your connections. If everything is installed correctly and you're still having problems, then I think the resolution lies between you and Terry/BMS.

Okay I left the O2 sensor wires still connected, what is the extension harness for O2 sensors? I'm just using the harness for the O2 sensors that came with it one long black wire one short black wire that plug into the harness.

When I ran the OBD2 wires I popped a hole through the grommet instead of pushing The grommet out. I hope I didn't damage some wires in that harness jamming the screwdriver through The grommet.

So with stock gapped spark plugs that couldn't be the cause of all this? meaning of the spark plugs have now been damaged because of the additional boost? I have seen people that have screwed up their spark plugs running stock plugs.

Scott - relax! We're trying to help you troubleshoot this. The only way to isolate the problem is to undo the steps that lead to the problem in the first place.

Like I said above, remove EVERYTHING related to the JB4. Pull that entire thing out of your engine bay. THEN see if you still have problems. We will get to the other details later. Eliminate potential problems one by one. Start with the easiest, which is totally removing your JB4, then move on to the next thing. The removal is quick and easy, don't half ass things by partially unplugging stuff, just remove it entirely - then drive it, and tell us how it drives.

Got it I'll do this soon as I get home from work. Thanks for your help

And today they aren't they are stock spark plugs with stock gapping haven't touched them yet I'm hoping that's all the problem is. that is simply that is received damaged the plugs and not something else

Another problem I was supposed to have all of my exhaust installed tomorrow (downpipes/ catback) and I'm not going to do that until this gets resolved. I'm supposed to receive the Denso plugs today from Burger Motorsports they forgot them in the initial order because of how I ordered two separate orders as an add-on.

Can somebody tell me the process of pulling codes with the jb4 app? Do you just put on the accessory connect the jb4 app then go to codes? I tried doing it while the car was running and shows no codes. but there are definitely codes. Last night I put everything back to stock outside of removing the O2 sensor wires from the red wires. Drove the car and got major misfires of sorts and definitely had the cel on, so I know they're there.

Make sure OBDII cable is in if you're trying to read codes, or if all else fails use an external OBDII reader.
