First Korean car and I'm so glad Kia has put out such a good product. Past cars were mainly German with a short adventure into Japanese cars (I didn't like it very much):
Audi A4 1.8T
VW GTI VR6
VW GTI 2.0T
Mazda CX5
Nissan 370Z
Audi S3

First KIA for me

I am not going to list all the cars I have had, do to knowing I have a problem with items that have motors.

Yes. I thought about it all last winter: kept coming back to, "It's a Kia. Why would they create a car like this?" Finally decided (after the test drive confirmed all the hype in the Stinger promo book) that times change. Boy howdy!:D

First Kia and first Korean car. Lately it has been Japanese (Toyota, Subaru, Scion) but it's been a couple of German and a few American. If you want to include fun cars, it is more German and 3 Austrian.

So far, the car has exceeded my expectations. The last time I drop a Korean car was while starting up test facilities for Hyundai in Korea and driving a Sonata over really crappy local roads in the late 90s.

The Stinger is my 5th Kia and the Telluride will end up being #6 :)

2014 Optima SX
2014 Sportage EX
2016 Optima SXL
2018 Stinger GT2

I have fallen in love with the brand. Dollar for dollar, no brand matches the features, warranty and style. No matter how much money I make, or where I live I will have a KIA in the garage. Fantastic vehicles, and a great brand that has one hell of a story of progress and passion behind it.

I don't care about the "premium" shit anymore. KIA is as premium as any other car brand out there.

My third after a 2012 Optima SX and then a 2017 Sorento SX.

Same here. I have never reviewed a car to this degree before purchasing. I spent 5 months looking at every damn review I could find on the Stinger, and also kept coming back to "but it's a Kia!" hahaha. It was an educational 5 months, and well.... It's the best car I've ever owned. :D

First kia. A gf had one in hs and it was an absolute disaster and embrassement. I would of never thought I'd buy a Kia. Ive advised people against it and I am Korean! But I am loving the stinger, all the minor problems can be over looked.

The dealerships I hate though. From the sales staff to the waiting area. an open space with decades old furniture and kids running around, popcorn all over the floor. I walk down the street to lexus where I bought my other car sometimes. So much nicer in there. Service department has been very very nice to me though. Constant calls about survies asides.

For my car history I've owned just about every major country/brand. Some of them I still have. I am not a fan of trading in cars but rather hoarding them.
(2) Saab sportcombis, (3) camry xse, (1) corvette z06, (2) bmw twin turbo 5s, (1) gmc suburban, (1) Mercedes e, (1) hummer3, (1) lexus nx300, (2) ranger rover sports, (1) tesla s, (1) mustang boss and some more.
