I am debating between getting an Intercooler or WMI. What would be your choice and why? I just want to get people feedback and opinions. What will be a better performance mod? Which one will be better to improve 1/4 mile time runs?
 
intercooler. increase your potential without too much work.
 
WMI for me. The system at BMS was easy to install and paired seamlessly with the JB4. I wanted that power increase while having the added benefit of cleaning my valves. And the price is excellent!

Angel, arn't you already on your second fmic?
WMI will be faster but more of a pain. I'm staying with FMIC.
Plus when you get your tune you can hit your 11.9 goal easy with fmic.

Just not happy in general with the status of my car without a tune. Just not fun at the moment lol. I consider a part out daily at least get the car back down to fun. Too lazy to go throw primary cats back on as it was a PITA to begin with, but thats where I went wrong Catless and Jb4 :(

Have you tried using the lap 3 pro on top of the JB4? That should fix the issue.

I have considered selling the JB4 and FSB, but when i do it wont be for another piggyback. The tunes are here. Im still really hopeful that I will work with Tork, but who ever tells me they are ready to go first. Will win my support lol. I just need a TUNE!!!! lol.

I agree with the ecu tune should have no issues hitting 11.9. I want WMI but it’s just more complicated. I personally am not a big fan of WMI. The intercooler seems more practical and cost effective. The intercooler would be very useful if DD on summer times as well.

How much are you asking? Which tank do you have and does it come with the BMS nozzle adapter?

I have the full setup including the BMS Nozzle, FSB, MAF Sensor Quick Connect, BMS solenoid, Pump, BMS Check Valved Billet CAp, 2 gallon tank. Most of it is reusable though. I never actually used the MAF Sensor Quick Connect as with the UP FMIC you cant use it. Most ill reuse but if you are interested in the Quick Connect, or FSB shoot DM me a price, im fair. Ill replace the FSB with a Snow Performance Controller and sell the JB4 once I have a ECU tune lined up. Ill be able to reuse the pump, and tank as they are all interchangeable with competitors products.

I'm also a FMIC guy. It's just another PITA to fill the boost juice every time you fill up with gas and it takes up real estate in the car (the same reason I wouldn't put a big honking subwoofer in the trunk).

You don't have to refill an intercooler. Nothing against WMI, but it isn't something I'd run on a DD.

That’s what I love about the system from BMS. Since it’s oaired with the jb4, I only need to run it when I choose to.
