If you were to sell your Stinger....what next?

13-14 GT500

Someday i will replace the stinger with 2 cars. A cushy family car, something like an e-class wagon, v60 recharge, or cadillac lyric, and a sports car like a boxster/corvette/mx-5. Shows you how good the Stinger is when it will only be replaced by 2 cars.

And?

Volvo V60 is produced in Belgium.
nothing from me.. i was just saying that's why china, since they say the polestar 5 is going to be made in a bespoke chinese factory vs usa... lol. like the new Mini electric that will be made in china eh.

13-14 GT500
Saw one of those on craigslist up here by me for 38000 bucks with 105000 miles.

I wish i could have pulled that trigger.

Thats the cheapest 200mph you could by.

So, my other 2 cars are 15' Porsche Cayman GTS (Weekend fun car) and my wife's 18' Porsche Macan GTS. I might consider the following if I were to replace my 19' Stinger GT1:

G70
M3/M40i or maybe M2/M240i (Might be too small)
911 - Also maybe too small for daily
Panamera
S4, S5, or S7
RS4
Macan GTS or Turbo since I like my wife's so much

I just bought her last year...

I guess if I had to, I'd go for something really niche, like a Gibbs Aquada.

Really nothing else out there in the price range with 4 doors, awd and easy potential for 500+hp for less than $2k in mods. If I didn't need 4 doors I would have never bought the Stinger in the first place.

If I had to spend more and keep 4 doors and awd I'd probably get an M440i or M3.

If I didn't need 4 doors I'd probably go back to a Camaro. I'd get a used ZL1 this time and with about $3k in mods it'd make around 750hp...then I'd miss awd and want something else lol

i've also been having evil CT4-V blackwing thoughts. 6-speed stick.

No worries, wasn't directed at you.

I looked heavily into that as well before I bought my 2023 replacement. The funniest and stupidest thing I didn't like about it was the trunk passthrough. I got so used to having plenty of space in the Stinger that my mind just wouldn't stop saying "but, but...but...the trunk passthrough". I've got issues.

The hatch also is a thing... We have never owned a regular 3 box "car" with a trunk... suv's, wagons, hatchbacks... no sedans yet.... might break the trend someday but it'll probably be something like a 7 series or g90... lol

I too had those thoughts, but the fact that it doesn't come in a coupe any more with the sizing (and the fact that for the last model year or two, the ATS-V was ONLY a coupe) and the fact that where I am, id rather have an AWD vehicle to daily is what kept me away from it. Eventually ill be picking up a CT5-V-BW in manual to have as a fun car, but that wont be for many years. For now, the G70LE will keep me going!

I have to say...my 1st car was a 3dr hatch. My next 2 were coupes with a standard trunk. Getting into a Stinger made me realize how much I missed having a hatch....for what it's worth.

When I was in high school I bought a slightly used 1986 Toyota Camry hatchback. I wanted it mostly for my subwoofers to "bounce" off the hatch window and because it was affordable. I got rid of it right after high school and hadn't had a hatch since. When I bought the Stinger in 2018, the first thing I said to myself was "why did I wait so long to get back into the hatch life". Then the next thing, "how many speakers..." I said that one out loud, the wife was not about the subwoofer/hatch life. :geek: In any event, honestly... my replacement for my totaled 2018 Stinger had to have a hatch. What better than...a new Stinger, with a hatch!

I replaced mine with BRZ and still have to pick 2nd vehicle. Still got wife's Stinger though.

We had 2 stinger, replaced one with BRZ and undecided SUV. Ioniq 5 N seems like a good replacement for stinger considering my needs.

Probably an EV6, I realize the Stinger has become a reliable fun wagon at this point, I rarely take it to the Dragon anymore (despite handling great) having a turbo Miata RF, while they are a perfect compliments to each-other I think, easier trailer hitch + camp-mode + larger fold flat trunk space would make it useful for overnight camping.

Unemployed right now, so hard to say. Depends on if I can afford to go keep going to the track or not - might "downgrade" to an Elantra N. But, not for a good many years yet - unless they keep raising Kia insurance rates through the roof. I just paid like 3x the cost of my wife's GTI. Mind you, I drive more (7500 vs 2000 / year), but still..
