6,200 miles, owned it since mid June. I would recommend it to everyone who asked. I think that this is one of the best cars ive driven. It has speed and acceleration, while also having 4 doors and comfort. My son LOVES when i pick him up, because all his friends (3rd grade) like to look at it. In a sea of white, silver, black SUV's, my car sticks out.

C. 13K miles, since March. 100% certain to recommend the Stinger to anyone who wants to drive a fun car that meets the requirements of a gran turismo. Coming up on eight months in, the "honeymoon" continues. KIA no longer stands for "killed in action": it means "kewl impressive automobile". :D

Funny you should mention that. Yesterday I was getting out of my car after parking in the garage, and there was a kid maybe 8 or 9 years old on a bicycle that had stopped in the middle of the road and was just staring at it. I smiled at him and he blurted out 'I just LOVE looking at your car!'.

I laughed and thanked him. I've had lots of compliments on the car before, but that one really made my day ...

... and yes, I recommend buying one to every 8 year old that I see. :D

On this theme :-) ... once a week I ask my 13yo on the way to school, if he wants to take a short detour to see the only Stinger in our neighborhood we have ever seen, a ceramic gray rebadged GT1/2. I ask him every time if he likes it and he always replies "I already told you dad that I do... a lot". I guess I'm the kid in this...

Just crossed 14.6k miles on mine and loving it, and yes I would recommend it to everyone and I do when admirers ask about the car.

I have to remind all you all, that I have been stopped and given three warnings by three cops who (I deduced) simply wanted to look at my car. :D

26,000 miles, bought in Jan. loved every mile great car

26k miles in 10 months...? That's a LOT holy crap lol

Bought near end of July, currently sitting at around 5k. Definitely recommend it not for just performance, but for utility as well. Hatchback is a godsend if you have kids, moving equipment, or even just buying items which will make it all more convenient for you.

Hitting 5k, had mine since the end of August and this car has me driving more and more just because. At the start I was working to see what kind of economy I can get from it on my commute but lately, I have been driving it every chance I get. I tell everyone I know about it and suggest they get one. Folk come over to ask about the car and compliment it. For me, I know I made a good decision on this car as well as moving to KIA from BMW some year back. I checked out the A5 and 4 GC during my search to compare and the GT2 offers more power, space, options and driving feel that I like for the price point. Combine that with their warranty and it's a win for me and all who have decided to get one.

17,500 miles since early May. I love the car; would definitely recommend to others, and; I will definitely consider buying another especially if/when a 2nd-gen has some nice advancements. Already read rumors of a 400hp V6 or possibly a V8.
I drive a lot. 55 mile RT daily commute and there were a lot of planned vacation/pleasure jaunts over the summer, plus some other unplanned long trips. So that's a lot of miles, even for me. My odometer rate will go down significantly over the winter months. On the bright side, have enjoyed every mile in that Stinger GT2!

I would definitely recommend...it's damn near a perfect car, looks, performance, comfort, and tech for a cheaper price than any other car in it's class. What's not to like...this thing is just down right fun to drive...period!!

17K+ miles on my 2.0 Premium at time of Trade-in, and now 4K+ miles on my GT2 and yes, absolutely LOVE the Stinger(s)! Love KIA as well, as this is my 8th. Always and will continue to recommend KIA's cars to anyone and everyone that will listen. Got my brother to buy a 2018 Niro, and he and his wife are loving that car too for their family.

I have been surprised by the gas millage on the GT2. I was getting roughly 32ish MPG in the 2.0 Premium, and was hoping for about 25-26 MPG in the GT2 but so far my new Stinger has blown me away! I drive 50 miles on each commute, highway speeds in the mornings and some stop and go traffic in the afternoons. I filled up on my way home last night, some Sport mode but mostly Smart, and Smart mode this morning and when I pulled into work today I noticed I was at 31 MPG. Very impressive.

Would I buy another Stinger/KIA? Yup, already did, and would do again.
Would I recommend her to others? Hell YES! :)

The average fuel economy display can be configured to automatically reset after 4 hours with the engine off, at each refill, or not at all (requires a manual reset) - so if you haven't changed that setting you may be seeing the number just from that one leg of your commute. I believe the default is to auto reset.

Impressive economy, nonetheless - equates to about 7.6 liters/100 KM in metric, which is about as good as I've seen on my car after after a leg of extended highway travel. Kia's published numbers in Canada are 9.6 highway, or about 24.5 mp(US)g. Nice that with the turbo GDI engine we can moderate fuel consumption by virtue of how much power we tap into - wasn't that long ago that a high power engine meant you got miserable fuel economy regardless.

Mine automatically resets after each fill-up.

Oh, so it's just based on the current trip. I did that earlier this week. I reset mine for lifetime mpg and it is now at 22.9. I have been driving it harder though.

Just curious,:why moving from Premium to GT2? Was it just performance? I am eyeing a Premium 2019...

3,500 on my GT and still puts a smile on my face every time I shift it into Sport. Rave about it to everyone and it's been fun having people walk up at the gas station or pull over in the neighborhood when I'm outside washing it to talk about it. Really happy I found a ceramic silver GT.

Long detailed history on my 2.0 Premium: So I am dropping my Stinger off for Repaint...

I loved my Premium, awesome car. But in the end, with KMA's help (that I can not say to much about due to a non-disclosure agreement), I traded it in for the GT2. LOVE my GT2.
