I'm sure my wife is saying similar stuff about me in forums on handbags and lipsticks.

Not exactly but my wife likes to say that when it comes to cars I change my mind every month lol! So far the stinger has held my interest for several months now as it seems to check all the boxes. The only issue i'm dealing with right now is options for the stinger (as I know many of us are). I love the style of the GT but the gas mileage is pretty terrible for a commuter car (in my opinion) and the base and premiums look too bland to consider. A 2.0T with GT front and rear bumpers is the ticket. Will it happen? No clue but for now i'm content with waiting to see what happens next year, if anything![]()
Damn straight that counts as a success story! If it helps my wife hates fast cars and thinks my Corvette sucks because it's too low to get in and out of but she genuinely wants me to be happy so she supports me in whatever car I want to get. That counts as a success story, right?

Yeah, but I want the 3.3T. It has the most value for a performance car.You could always get the 2.0T... That's not "fast". Having a good, safe, reliable car that doesn't cost a fortune sounds like a good part of life goals to me.
I told my wife it's a "family" car - see four-doors?
Aimed to carry kids - see the Isofix points for children seats?
It has a longer wheelbase than a Sonata or a Cadenza, I had to present it's so comfy in sitting in the back - more on that later.
Practical like an SUV due to folding rear seats.
Built to rival the Germans = safer in case of accidents.
(failed) to get the 3.3TT - couldn't justify the need of 365hp to bring our groceries from the supermarket home, less than a kilometer away.
(failed) to get the dream edition for the limited slip diff - was going with snow in winter but there's hardly any snow on the street here in Seoul.
Yeah, some worked, some didn't - so it's a 2.0T Stinger for me. Still consider a success right?

Wow, so I'm the only person set on buying a different car? I still follow this forum because regardless, it's one of the best car forums I've seen, and I still enjoy following the Stinger's release and seeing what everyone thinks about it.
As for people still buying the Stinger - there's just a special emotion about this car! People are going to buy it whether it's missing this or that or not the best at this or that. You still get a lot for your money and it's going to be unique on the road for a long time. I think it'll be more unique than the "Genesis" cars and they still turn a lot of heads and get lots of questions. It's going to be fun owning a Stinger on many levels...
A word of advice... Be careful about posting too many sales messages. There's a fine line between enough - and too much... People don't want to be spammed. Be gentle. The members and viewers aren't here to watch a sales competition...
Authorized dealers have their own forum/section to post deals and inventory. If somebody asks where they can find a Stinger near them, feel free to tell them. But don't answer questions that nobody is asking...
Ultimately, I'd love to see you guys sell Stingers. That means they're getting into the hands of our members. But at the same time I want to see you build a relationship with the community. That way the members and viewers will appreciate your presence - not the opposite...Very Well Said and I agree
