How long did your tires last?

I really have to stop going sideways around corners My tires will last much longer Note to self

Primacy Tour AS is a general all season tire. Michelin says it's good for 55K mi. I'd expect at least 45K+ unless you drive like a nutjob. Rotate periodically and you should be ok.

Being in NV, heat may be working against you.

Replaced my Michelin's with Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+ today. My rears were pretty much done after 25000km. Only rated to 30k. Fronts are still good at just under 7/32 so I'll sell them used

Looks like I'm going to get just over 23K miles and 2 years out of the rear set of PS4 tires. The fronts I'm still at 5/32 and 6/32 per Discount Tire. I plan on ordering a set of PS4s's for the rear in a few weeks and will replace the fronts when they wear down more.

According to the dealer (where I get my oil changed, Hyundai/Genesis) I can't rotate them, maybe they were wrong and side to side if fine. They may have thought I was running the directional sport tires and never looked closer. Maybe only doing donuts around my boss's truck every other lunchtime is buying me some miles.

**Edit, just checked and there's no directional indicator on the A/S tires, only 'outside'. I probably should be rotating them side to side.

That's all i managed on my last rear Potenzas. Got about 18k out of the original continental contact 5's.

Well then I think 22k miles (about 35000 km) on them is decent lol
my continental xtreme contact after 5 sets never last more than 20,000 kms or 12,500 miles at the rear of my gt and i'm being generous but i believe it has a lot to do with their suspension and the continental crap, after numerous alignments the wear at the rear is always on the inside edges of the tires both side of the car and i say wear i mean the whole inside gone exposing the wires and most of the treads are intact, try to explain that.

From what I have seen, alignment is not an exact science, they say they adjust to specs, but then a check will show some deviations. Some are better than others.

like this? I've had some camber taken out since noticing the inner edge wear.

I had the Stinger for 6 years no brand of rear tyres lasted long. Mine wore evenly but not longer enough. I reckon its a design issue. Most i got were 28,000km out of the orginal Continentals.

My other car a Gt 21 Mustang got 38,000km.

My originals in my Base AWD lasted about 50k miles. I replaced with Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Weather and time to replace again after 23k.

I was disappointed with Goodyear's and looking for a longer lasting tire. I expect 45k as I do not drive aggressively.

Suggestions?

Replaced my Michelin Pilots with Nankang NS25, yeah I know, budget line of tires but the top of the line, design taken from highly rated tire company and produced in East Asia, but Stinger is also top of the line car from budget car company, design taken from highly rated car company and produced in East Asian country. VERY HAPPY
How are the Nakanga doing?
