HEADS UP RE: WINTER TIRE PACKAGE KIA - CANADA

General question on FC04 wheels for the Stinger. I'm trying to source the wheels myself and have found two different SKU numbers for the same wheel which appear to have exactly the same specifications. Which one is correct or better yet, what is the difference?

SKU: FC04-1880-65BE+30C726
or
SKU: FC04A-1880-65BE+30C726

Thank you very much! Well, it's not the worst thing in the world. I've seen so much worse. I could probably deal with that. But it IS a little annoying...
A little piece of black tape in just the right spot should eliminate most of the aggravation.

True, I bet that would work fine. It's not a very luminous light...

Yeah, not really liking the sounds of that. I used to have those orange (or sometimes red) lights stuck on with my cars when I was young. I don't want any memories of those annoying times now that I'm 111.
Is this what you had 111 years ago? dsc_07601.webp ;):p:whistle:

I'm trying to find the right SKU # for the steel wheels for a family member. They do not want to spend the cash on an alloy wheel for snows to just get pitted from salt. Can anyone help me with that? I can get semi direct from FastCo through a friend of a friend I'm told. Thanks in advance!!

I verified with FASTCO, correct SKU is FC04-1880-65BE+30C726 for alloy wheels. Not sure what SKU is for steel wheels. I just know that the letter "A" must be dropped from the first 4 characters (FC04A) to eliminate the need to machine the wheels. FC04 denotes that the wheels come pre-machined and ready for installation.

Thanks I'll keep searching

Anyone have a part number for the steel wheels I can pass on? FastCo is the common brand here that dealers can get but the one my family is trying to deal with is in the North of me so things are slow to learn part and price wise.

Not sure if it's out of your way but Durham Kia sells steel wheel winter tire packages for the Stinger. Check this post:

Honestly it isn’t too bad. The tire pressure light is in the top right of the cluster so it stays relatively hidden from the steering wheel. :)

You’d think they’d give us the option to disable for snow tires...

I agree. My steering wheel is tilted just right where I don't even see that annoying TPMS light. Of course I can't see my turn signal indicator through the wheel either...

I find that they both look great, but the black rims require the tires to have the black polish to look good.

We have just been advised by one of the other dealers that 1 of the Winter Tire packages DO NOT FIT the Stinger.

Please be advised the K022 in 18" will not fit on the Front end of the Stinger, waiting on resolution from dealer currently dealing with the issue, will advise once updated.

Could possibly be all 18" packages.

Cheers,
Pinky
Sorry to hear about your dilemma. One thought: you could probably run a hub-centric spacer in the fronts until FASTCO clears up the fitment problem.

Clearly Canadian, I see you are in Edmonton. I'm just down the QE2 from you, and looking to get the FC04/XIce combo in preparation for next season. Mother nature just doesn't seem to want to let go of the 'snow' button this year, but I think we're almost in the clear ... :)

Did you get a good price on the package, and if you wouldn't mind could you pass on the contact info?

EDIT: I saw a couple of your earlier posts, and it appears you got the wheels and tires as part of a package with the dealer where you bought the car. Sounds like you had a lot of fun working it all out with them - hope the tires and wheels are doing a good job for you.

The wheel diameter is of course slightly different than the 19s that came on the car - are you noticing a significant speedo error?

Cheers,
Steve S.
