Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Hello everyone. I'm a relatively new owner (blue GT2 AWD, just crossed 800 miles). In the last week I've seen two Stingers on the road: a blue one near Shady Grove Road that appeared to be on a test drive (so maybe doesn't count), and a red GT w/tinted windows in Fairfax on Fair Lakes Parkway near the mall.

I've also had a few "contacts" from observers. A Mustang driver clocked me on the open highway for a bit, then gave the thumbs-up when I let him pass. Another driver pulled up beside me at the grocery store (with his family on-board) to comment on how he's a Mustang driver, but has been following the Stinger. Finally, a little old Asian lady approached me after I'd parked in front of a store she was exiting, said she liked the car, and wanted to know if it was fast.
Old Asian lady stereotypes incoming!

Still none up her in chicago

Don't have tinted windows, but was on Fair Lakes Parkway and near the mall yesterday afternoon and last Friday afternoon. Yesterday, I was getting into it a little bit on the pkwy. Speaking of tinted windows...I think its time to get some.

My sighting was Sunday afternoon, en route to a Super Bowl party in the rain. :(

Wouldn't be me in that tight little space. I'd catch an uber from my spot out by myself before I fit my car in there. Lmao
It's not that tight actually. I had about the same space left on the driver side of my STI. It's much better than my apartment parking lot. That van tho, can't deny that it's huge.

Just curious - I’ve had mine for a bit over a week and put 1000 miles on it and haven’t seen another one on the road yet. Anyone else have?

Saw my first fellow Stinger on the road today! Was waiting at a stoplight about a mile from home, and a GT2 in High Chroma Red breezed across in front of me. Looked awesome!

I honked at the driver, but they didn't seem to notice. Or they may have been as embarrassed as I was by the wimpy squeak of the Stinger horn!

I still haven't seen one on the east side of Lake Washington, or anywhere else for that matter...looking forward to that time, though :)

Bought my Aurora Black and red Stinger on 1/2. The only Stinger in San Antonio I have seen is my own. Honestly, I kind of like it that way!

I finally saw several in one day on Friday, but only because a bunch of us went to Kia headquarters in Irvine to take part in a Stinger market research focus group. It was great to see them all lined up at the curb. Still haven't seen even one on the road.

They launched here in November , I think mine was one of the first in North America ...................never seen a live one on the road yet .................kinda like it !!

Totally different world here.

I see like 5-10 Stingers every week. A pearl white yesterday, a Pantera Metal one at my work's parking lot, a black base model after dinner last Friday. Another white one on the highway last Thursday. I always wave to them, but no one ever wave back...

I also think it's time I step it up a notch.

I was thinking about pulling next to them, roll down the windows, and throw an empty red bull can. Hum... maybe i'll start with flashing lights first.

Stingers appear as rare as hens teeth. Ive seen 1 in the last month, and that was a glimpse. And I'm keeping an eye out to.

We signed an agreement not to reveal. But I don't think they'd mind my saying that they asked most of the right questions, we gave all the right answers and voiced the important concerns, and I don't think anything was said that you haven't read on the Forum. No secrets about upcoming product developments were revealed, so I'm having no problem keeping quiet. They gave each participant a Stinger hat and a check for $200. It was good to actually be in a room listening to other Stinger owners and seeing their enthusiasam.

I'd have loved to watch the proctor's reaction to the passion this car has ignited. At least, I HOPE they took notice! Congrats on being able to participate! Care to share a pic of the commemorative cap? :)
