Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Lol, I think you may be correct. I caught a glimpse of the front waiting at the lights and thought Stinger. Now when I look closer at the video.....OMG, its not. And I hadn't even been drinking!
I think you better start. Lol

5 x Stingers in two days 2 x blues, silver, white & red.

This has been the case for many years but according to reviewers and car journalists the new Toyota models released over the last few years seem to be quite good to drive. The 86, current model Camry, just-released Corolla, new Supra and just-released RAV4 have all received good reviews.

The Australian press is more enamored with the RAV4 than the NA auto journalists who just find it middling (like for the new Highlander/Kluger).

And while the latest Camry is a better drive than in the past, journos who have tested a pre-production Sonata N-Line have been more excited about it than the Camry TRD (which still falls short of the Accord sport).

And the streak continues. So far, 2 x red, 1 x black on Thursday, 1 x orange on Friday, 1 x silver on Saturday, spotted another red parked in the car park at Wyong Railway Station about 12:30 today but it’s often parked there so doesn’t really count anymore, although I did notice he has changed out the stock GT wheels for black rims now. About 2:12pm today spotted this ceramic grey sneaking up behind me in traffic on Main Road Glendale.

As i said before you're in the epicentre of Stinger central up there. The golden triangle. I bagged 6 up there one day. Such spoils have alluded me since. Although when the tides are right and moon faze along with right barometric pressure one can snare a brace or 3.

Yeah it’s weird I can go weeks or even months and not see one and then a whole heap of them all at once. Today’s was in Newcastle, the rest were spread across the Central Coast. Often when I see them I’m not in my Stinger but lately I’ve been lucky and got a few decent dashcam pics.

Will be interesting to see how the Aussie journalists rate the Sonata N-Line when it arrives here. Sadly, Honda aren't importing the Accord Sport - only the lower-powered Hybrid is coming here. The sedan market in Australia is really dwindling:

(1) Kia have ceased importing the Optima
(2) Ford have ceased importing the Mondeo (known as Fusion in the US)
(3) Subaru have ceased importing the Liberty (known as Legacy in the US)
(4) Nissan have ceased importing the Maxima
(5) Holden have shut up shop completely and used to import the Commodore (known as the Buick Regal in the US)

Yes, we thought the performance sedan market was dying, its actually the whole sedan market. Our Stingers will one day be the last of a special kind of vehicle.

Was walking on Vinnedge last night and saw one go by exactly like mine.. Ceramic silver, didn't have my phone with me.

Kas, the sedan market has taken a big hit in the U.S., as well. American companies are conceding defeat to Japan, South Korea and, of course, Germany.

Honda Australia will also no longer offer the Jazz (aka the Fit, which is also disappearing from the US market) and the City; the Odyssey could be next to go.

The Stinger not only (vastly) outsold all the other fastbacks last month in Australia, it also outsold the 3 Series and C Class.

But people think the Stinger doesn't sell well due to the miss notion that it should be selling as well as the old RWD Commodore (those days are long gone); esp. in light that there are hardly any sales of the 2.0T.

Saw a ceramic silver sitting outside the porcupine grille in Cottonwood Heights, we pulled in hoping to get a table but decided to leave. I was hoping to get to talk to a group of people who I thought might own the car but we didn't stick around long enough.

I was reading up on the Stinger yesterday. There two major countries where Kia is not sold:
1. North Korea: Self explanatory.
2. Japan: Someone is feeling threatened.

Last Sunday I was parked in my DCB Stinger at the local Maccas = ( Mcdonalds ) car park , on my left was a Maserati Ghibli with " OLDSHL " on his plates, further down was a guy in an Orange Mustang, and yet I was so proud of my Stinger despite the presence of a real Maserati, the owner was of course eyeing off my ride, seeing them both in the flesh very close, they both really do have similar body styles, which is why people who don't know what a Stinger is, thinks it could be a Maserati, then on the way home I spot a Hi Chroma Red Stinger, I did wave, but I didn't see a return wave..?

3:35pm yesterday spotted this white GT turning onto Wallarah Rd Gorokan. Pulled in behind me briefly before turning off into a side street. The streak continues.
