Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Saw Micro Blue today in downtown Freehold NJ about noon. Also saw a White heading into Manalapan NJ on Englishtown-Freehold road around 6pm.

Micro blue Stinger with black wheels outside my estate in Jandakot this morning. Best photo my daughter could take at the time. 5C7EC8EB-BFDB-4317-B7AC-867C855BF468.webp

I may be wrong but isn’t that a Ford Falcon. Possibly a Sprint, one of the last types of Falcons to be made.
Lol, I think you may be correct. I caught a glimpse of the front waiting at the lights and thought Stinger. Now when I look closer at the video.....OMG, its not. And I hadn't even been drinking!

Toyotas/Lexus are great cars, but they do not have a real personality.

This has been the case for many years but according to reviewers and car journalists the new Toyota models released over the last few years seem to be quite good to drive. The 86, current model Camry, just-released Corolla, new Supra and just-released RAV4 have all received good reviews.

And I hadn't even been drinking!

Sure. We all believe you.

I sometimes see a car when I am out driving and go "Look a Stinger." and then realise it's some other car, BMW, Jag, Camry. I was looking at your car on my phone so I was able to zoom in and I first noticed the spoiler and that's what betrayed it as a Falcon. The headlights are very similar though.

Spotted and passed a white Stinger yesterday afternoon eastbound on the QEW, exchanged waves

Be aware the hybrids have a filling the gas tank issue. Mine would only fill to 355 miles DTE, It is supposed to get close to 600 miles DTE. I Lemon Law it back to Toyota, therefore now own a stinger. Other than that a nice car.

I mean, the 86 and Supra are very different classes of car from the other two... But speaking as somebody whose wife was pushing him to get the Camry over the Stinger, the Camry didn't even come *close* to the Stinger. And the XLE V6, financed, would've cost more than what my finance payments are on the Stinger.

The Camry and Stinger are on opposite ends of the drive for enjoyment spectrum. Lucky you got your wish and not the wife’s.

My twin boys have a soccer tournament 100 miles away today. I hope to see a Stinger in the wild. Great part of road trip is that there is a toll road where speed limit is about 90 mph. With my Escort radar detector, I can safely go a bit faster.

"Nine, you're fine. Ten, you're mine." :P Just remember.

I've seen exactly TWO Stingers while on road trips out of Utah; a Ceramic Silver in Atlanta and a Silky Silver in LA (my son-in-law and grandson both saw a White circling Grijalva park in Orange, so there is that; they laughed at me because I couldn't see it).

And I just saw two within ten minutes. Pulled into Costco on 10400 South and Bangerter, and some lady was just exiting the Mister Car Wash in a Ceramic Silver. I think she wondered why this stranger was waving at her. Then as I was walking toward the front doors at Costco, this Micro Blue was leaving the parking lot: it had an enormous Super Man sticker that filled the entire hatch window.

Well, you got 50% correct, it's still Micro Blue ( Ford no doubt call it a different name, but whatever )
I was so excited too that another Micro Blue was potentially spotted, my heart has sunk.....

That's interesting, I hadn't heard of that issue. Hybrid RAV4s are so popular in Australia that the RAV4 topped the sales chart last month and about 90% of those were hybrids.

Absolutely the Stinger is better than the Camry in pretty much every area, but the new generation Camry is (apparently) very competitive in its segment while previous generations weren't.
