Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

So, if you can't spot any Wild Stingers, then BE the Wild Stinger.

(I've gone three months at a time between sightings, since my first sighting, over five months in; but lately, I see at least one a month; and super lately, so far this year, I've already seen nine: so, times do change.)

The most I go is three days without a sighting and that's because I'm at home. The place is teeming with Stingers. I'm not reporting most sightings now just the multiples or modded ones.

I see a white one each work day morning at 4.30am with the number plate 4LERGY (Alergy).

I finally saw my neighbor drive by in his Ceramic Silver Stinger yesterday morning. I was in my truck coming home from the dentist. Normally I would have waved him down to introduce myself but I did not feel up to it with the numbness due to a major dental procedure. I always see his car parked at his house. At least I know he drives it some.

Oh this was totally me. I remember this vividly. I just didn't know why you pulled right so quickly and thought you were slightly annoyed I made an effort to stay close for three or so intersections...

Thank you for your concern, really, but I never felt safer! But you would not have gotten me into an airplane under similar circumstances, just because of the recirculated air in these tubes... On the other hand you have not heard of anyone catching the virus on an airplane. But there were people pronounced infected coming off the Evac-Planes. So were they sick already when the got on or did it happen during a 16hr flight? Nobody is interested and nobody will tell.
In any case, the Diamond Princess just got bad publicity for unfortunate circumstances, which can easily compared to what happened recently in New Rochelle.
Anyway, I will, I think, I hope, to be able in future to outrun any COVID-19: I will be dropping by Pressertech on Monday and let the guys go at it. We had a little delay because of unforeseen circumstances but it will now be happening within days. Coronavirus be damned.
You stay safe too, my friend. Seattle is not that far from your doorstep...

I've just returned from several locations in Mexico and Panama ...............I must say I was shocked returning to the Vancouver International Airport and being herded through customs with 2 jet loads of passengers from China , our Govt is completely afraid to offend the PRC !!

Since I'm slightly older than Merlin and live in a county with many reportings of COVID-19, I've been "sheltering in place" since Thursday, reading, watching scary news reports, and thinking about doing major clutter control and cleaning (so far, only thinking. haha), but look what showed up in my local paper:


And this is what traffic looked like BEFORE the supermarket at this intersection became a magnet for every looney-toons TP hoarder in town. I don't even wanna know what it's like now. I'm close to needing perishables and a restock of frozen food, but braving the supermarket lines (2 to 4 hours on this past Friday/Saturday) for just empty shelves is too daunting right now. And there's absolutely NO WAY I'm taking my precious Stinger into a parking lot where you have to circle, like a friend did, for 30 minutes to find a parking place.

My faith in humanity is running low. Like my laundry soap. I figure they'll run out on the same day.

Yes, it may come to that, but as of now I don't do Amazon. (I know, shocking, but I have my reasons, only one of which is a recent explosion in porch pirates in my neighborhood who follow the Amazon trucks on their routes.) Most grocery delivery services don't serve our zip code, and a couple that did deliver suspended delivery this weekend, I guess because they can't get stock. An acquaintance ordered 7 items and only one was delivered. Be glad you're in Canada.

Yes, I'm assuming the hoarders will run out of money soon. But as of this morning, Nextdoor reported that there were lines at my local stores and shelves were still unstocked. Oh, well, I do have plans to go out and just drive. Guess I'd better do that before the hoarders refocus their attention on gas stations.

Actually, I'm guessing/hoping when I do go out, it won't be as bad as friends and the news are reporting. And I'll go to my market via the back way, not the construction zone!

My faith in humanity has also waned of late but this morning I read on my fb feed a guy was asking if any elderly people needed help to get groceries to contact him. Also, lady bought a pkt of 24 toilet rolls and gave them to the supermarket service desk and said " these are for anybody who desperately needs some" and then a lady rang up the supermarket in tears because she had run out of toilet rolls and was so relieved when they told her she could come down and get some for free.What a nice gesture when so many people are being selfish.
