Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

The actual offence is using, touching or holding a mobile phone whilst driving. $400 and 3 demerit points.
As I said, irrational. I was about to make a firearms analogy. "Danger Will Robinson!"

(Also, OFF TOPIC, now. Sorry.)

Not sure about other states or countries, but here you can't touch your phone for whatever reason.
Same here in California. Frankly, I'm glad there's a fine. I've found from experience that, while I of course am smart enough to do two things at once, most of the other drivers around here are barely capable of driving, much less of driving and being a videographer at the same time. I've been rolled into at stop lights more than once by people who were phone-obsessed and didn't realize they'd slipped off the brakes and were rolling.

Actually, yes this last time, but since none of my passengers felt anything, and I just felt a twitch in the steering wheel, and the SUV had backed off by the time I looked in the rear view, I thought I'd imagined it. It was only when we parked at our destination that I saw the mark on my rear bumper, most of which was bumper smudge that wiped off. It's a teensy 1/4" line, down to the black, and I'm waiting for a day when I can leave the car garaged for 24 hours to attempt a self-repair with my paint pens of that and of a small chip on the corner edge of the trunk lid. That is, if I get that confident; I really hate messing with stuff like this, and need to reread all the paint repair advice here on the forum first. To be honest, I don't know that the perpetrator this time was on the phone, but I'm betting.

Well he was doing something other than concentrating on the car in front, high probability it was being on the phone.

Another thing that pisses me off is some parents don’t have the concept of what the “ Quick drop off zone “ is, supposed to pull in, let kids out and drive off. Not park, switch off engine , get out and take kid to the classroom. Happens all the time and causes mayhem in the mornings
Heavy fines apply in NSW for doing that.

I saw another red one like mine in parking lot N/E corner of Ellesmere/Bellamy in Scarborough... Didn't get a chance to drive by and and wave hi (i can see driver was inside). was picking up my wife from Dr. visit and I notice she was across the street, and u-turn back towards her
This Past Tues. (Jan. 28th).

Missed capturing another one at night. This is the first Stinger I've seen in California. We were on our way back to Huntington Beach on the I-405, around eight o'clock (a little over an hour ago), and another Silky Silver came alongside and paused, making me look to my left. Then she went ahead and I fumbled my camera out of my back pocket and handed it to my wife; but the danged thing vibrated the instant she dropped the shutter cover: it does that sometimes and you have to snap your wrist to make it settle down, but she didn't know the trick and the Stinger got off at the next exit. Crap.

You have to demand better from your wife when it comes to Stinger snapping.

Last night at 6:20, southbound at Peck on the 605 I spotted Stinger taillights in the fast lane, but it was dark and with two lanes of heavy traffic between us, I couldn't tell anything further except that it was a dark color. I suspect it's someone I've seen near there before near the same time in the evening.

Was pulling out of my apartment garage this morning and noticed a black Stinger GT(+) parked near the exit that i haven't seen here before. Had black 5 spoke rims and dealer tags. Needed to get to work so i didn't stop to take a picture, but I'll report back if i see it again. I really hope it's the guy who had a silver M3, cuz i haven't seen it in a couple days.

After school drop off, at 0905 am today a Micro Blue driving on the Bellerine Hwy through Leopold .......Yay !!! another Blue :D

Lol. I am such a loser at this. :P Today I had my grandson in the car on our way to a park, and I was telling him the story from two days ago about the Silky Silver that "got away" (i.e. turned off before we could get our camera crap together); and he says, "Grandpa, did you see that white Stinger?" Just now? "Yes, it turned back there." Then, later, my son-in-law comes up to me and asks if I saw the white Stinger circling the park. Heh! Grrr!, even.:laugh:
