Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

I guess the chance of you seeing my Stinger would be 0%, because i live near Melbourne Airport.
No don't go up to Melbourne a lot , I do go to the Royal Children's Hospital with one of my kids every few months. If I go shopping in Melbourne's CBD I go by train, don't much like the Melbourne traffic. My husband drives to Melbourne every day for work and tells me he's seen at least 10 Stingers on the roads, never sighted a blue one though.

Well good time to jag a bargain over the holiday season especially in January when you can then pick up a 2018 build cheaper as it last year, & they want to get rid of them before 2019 builds turn up at around early Feb.
There's not any difference between the 2018 and 2019 models is there ? I think the 2018 models late this year, which is now, come with the Michelin sport 4 tyres instead of continentals, am I right ?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Do you ever fly past in your Stinger and buzz the tower?
Now that you mention it, Yes i do a fly past and buzz the tower in my Stinger, that's why i named it Blue Thunder, hence the Deep Chroma Blue paintwork....haha

There is a strip embedded in dash that illuminates different colours at night. June 2018 onwards model have it
Thanks AV8R( yep got your name right  ) I really like the sound of that, so I definitely keep that in mind

I found your pic. With the stock exhaust it’s like engaging whisper mode

Ohh Ok, thanx for the heads up, i know the feeling when i am not driving my Stinger, and of course, what do i see on my way, a Stinger, i have not seen one for about a month, so happy they are still rare on the roads here.
If you're alongside someone at a light, you can always roll down your window first, do a thumb up and a toot on the horn, then smile and point to their Stinger with a big grin and a nod. Body language is universal (well, almost). :D I've had other drivers in other vehicles do that to me a few times and there was never a question that they were "talking" about my car.

Saw a "silky silver" (?) this morning, first one of those I've seen "in the wild"..

I was out in my baby this evening - nobody saw me? :)

Yes in the doors & along the dash.
Definitely want mood lighting now ! great info on these threads, my car will be amazing when I finally get it :)

It certainly will be, then once you get it there are a ton of mod options you can do just to add your personal touches to it.

I had better start working overtime, this car is going to cost me a small fortune, but it will be worth it

Certainly will, but you won’t regret it.

I know it sounds silly, but I waited till I made a certain amount of money on my own (meaning, not including my wife's income), before I considered getting this kind of car. I wanted to make sure I didn't have buyers remorse and I have had zero. I also could then legitimately choose between the Stinger, the S5, the RS5, the Q50, the FSport and so on and not have it be solely about the price. The car needed to meet every need and the Stinger was the best (actually perfect) option. The RS5 was it's equal but it wasn't worth the much higher price tag and the shorter warranty. plus Audis are everywhere here.

No but my husband might :D he's had his turn, modified his beloved sports motorbikes over the years, now he's got the Ferrari of motorbikes a " Ducati " so it's my turn and I have a list of wants

I will trade in my Optima Platinum and have been saving money in a separate account especially for the Stinger and my hubby said he'll give me extra. That's why I don't mind waiting a bit so I can get enough for the car I really want. ( of course if I won tattslotto tonight, I'd be at the dealership tomorrow ) So your'e not silly at all, like me your'e being sensible .
