Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

There you go, win win. You got the spoiler, she got to vent, so everyone’s happy. I should go into the marriage counseling business.
If so you'll need to be fluent in two different languages:D. Ps thanks for the help Doc. Pss nice couch.

I went to the US (california) for a 10 day visit and I wasnt on the road that much but I saw 5 Stingers during that short period of time! I was really surprised and pleased to see some of them but I didn't expect to encounter them that often. I saw 2 black, 2 red and 1 white. Is California an especially highly populated area in terms of Stinger? or was I just super lucky?
Where in california?
I'm in Orange county. There are at least 2 other Stingers within a one mile radius of my house.

maybe he's not used to the length of it yet ?
An Optima is longer by 1". But it's also 3" taller. Sitting low messes with your dimensional perceptions. (unless you're already used to lower cars?)

Had a drive by today with a mirror image. Waiting to turn left coming at me in the opposite direction, on Washington Pl. “my” car. We waved and I honked as he drove by me.
Red GTx are you on here?

I have an Optima and yes compared to previous Falcons we've owned it is low riding. You do have to get used to it and be careful when pulling up to curbs etc that you don't scratch the front spoiler or bang it against the curb.I guess that's why lots of people like SUV's coz they are driving high.

My first three months in the Stinger were difficult for me, parking-wise. I curb rashed my front rims no less than five times!? My previous daily drivers were vans. Go figure: up high with a view all around, then drop literally two feet closer to the ground, extend the hood waaay out there: and there goes your "radar", kaput.

I haven't encountered a curb since (c. six months on). And the reason is twofold: I do not try to get in close and I also tend to back into spots, which affords way more view of where the curb is. The tilting mirrors help as well. But I do all my maneuvering with the grid on the rear view camera, positioning the car parallel to the curb, and keeping the red lines in the gutter.

I saw a Pantera heading North on Johnson Ferry on Sunday morning. I've seen more K900s than Stingers "in the wild", which is weird - but might have something to do with the area I live in. I see more Lamborghinis and Ferraris in a month than I've seen Stingers since they were released..

Yep, you do what I do, I also reverse in to parks where possible and try to avoid driving to close to curbs. When I first got the Optima I also scratched the nice fancy front wheel rim, was so mad at myself.
Another problem with being low is when you are trying to see for oncoming cars when turning left and a huge SUV rolls up next to you , and you can't see squat ! A bit like being in a movie theatre and a tall guy sits bang in front of me ( I am barely 5ft )

Saw two white stingers on the way to work one on M4 at Kingswood and one on Cumberland Hwy at Wentworthville. Western Sydney is definitely white Stinger Territory. Got the Regos as well.
