Thanks. The tires give that off a bit i suppose. The carbon fiber is all Adro. I was looking for ideas of what to do differently on Insta and most posts of cars done this way seem to be overseas, korea, japan, places like that. So just a bit different than the norm around here.

My wild sighting today was funny. A White Pearl with Xmas lights all over it, top to bottom, front to rear. They were not on, but Ima guessing they were clear/white, because the wires were white. Imagine what that looked like slowly approaching in the dealership parking lot, as I was leaving, I couldn't tell what was up with the "finish" on that car? Then it turned left in front of me and I saw the strings of lights taped all over it.

Interesting wild encounter today. Pulled in behind this guy and we both ended up at the pump island at the same time, gassed up at the same time. Not much time for talk, but he answered my question, "Why do you have a Russian witch's name as your plate?", by saying he's a fan of the 1973 Italian horror cult film. I had never heard of it before, but the name Baba Yaga goes back a long ways in Eastern European lore. It even figures in Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition", track 9, "The Hut on Chickens legs". So, a pretty wild sighting among Stinger wild sightings, I must say!

Apparently not now. I have just educated myself. AI is sooo stupid. My first search turned up only the Slavic legendary Baba Yaga. I ran across a reference to some film of that name from 1973. My second search "baba yaga 1973 film", turned up the Wiki and IMDb pages on that film - and the trailer, lol, which, after it played, THEN IMDb put up the caveat "not everyone is permitted to view this", and a box where you can list your birthday to "verify" that you are of legal age. Ha hah, stupid AI.

Finally, you provide the detail that I had not retained yesterday, "John Wick", the "Baba Yaga". No doubt that was what my friend of the Ceramic Silver Stinger and the plate BABAYAG is a fan of, not the esoteric 1973 film. Wikipedia provided all the details I needed, so, I can forgo the movies. Thanks for finishing up my "education." I am not a Keanu Reeves fan. But I do try to live by the red pill.

Saw 2 Stingers at my son’s high school. The Federation Orange used to be wrapped flat electric blue. The dad purchased it for his son. But he didn’t think his son’s car should have aftermarket wheels or a JB4 and sold them to me before handing over the keys. The white one…. No comment. Not my style. But he’s still a kid and has a lot of growing up to do. Lol. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not willing to let my son drive something this powerful as a first car. He’s currently rocking a Corolla.

People got deeper pockets than me I guess. Yeah, ain't no way I'd buy this as a first car for me kid even if I did have that kinda money. Although my son's first car was pretty nice, until it turned out to be a money pit, which I predicted. Was the Mrs idea to buy it for him, not mine!

I cannot fathom giving my kid a 3.3T Stinger either, but the 2.0T makes for an excellent starter wagon. I bought ours barely 1yr used for about the same price as a 2-3yr old Camry and daily'ed and had my fun with it for a couple of years before handing the keys to my kid. A nice safe car that handles like a proper RWD gran turismo and looks leagues better than any of the FWD econo ilks. Brembo brakes and tuned suspension were just icing on the cake.

I'm doing the same now with the white 2.5T. Depreciating it down for a couple of years before turning it over as a hand-me-down. Love this platform!

Nice looking Mercedes

It was nice looking.........that's about it. Only had 54k on it for a 2005. Spent 6k in only 3 years repairing it. Some of those repairs me and him did to try and save money. I told the Mrs I was done fixing it, sold it to a guy who actually likes working on Mercedes. I needed a reliable car for my son. Not something that was gonna be on the shelf all the time.

On top of that, the guy had the CK71 LEDs and only 1 was working, just like how my car used to be. Does anybody have the CK71s that are still both working actually???

Consider yourself lucky then. Do you daily your car in all types of weather? I honestly think mine crapped out due to the automatic car washes but I live in MN, not convenient to go to the do it yourself place in the winter, don't have one close to my house.

I daily it, got it with 13 miles, just ticked over 100,000. Parked outside. Washington State near the Oregon border so it's a pretty decent climate. I guess I will consider my car one of the good ones

Saw this one yesterday (~2030 hrs) out of the corner of my eye on County Road C eastbound, exiting I94-west in Pleasant Prairie WI. What caught my attention was the pink (or pinkish) color. Looked to be an older one with the triangular tail lights.

So rare I see these cars anywhere.
