Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Sunday afternoon my wife and I were travelling north on I-5 in the Salem area when my wife spotted a micro blue Stinger passing us in the leftmost lane. I couldn't get the vintage because right when she spotted it I had to dodge a blown-apart semi tire in my lane and my focus had to be elsewhere.

Saw a blue one at Shaw's ice cream in St Thomas Ontario on Sunday

Went to Kia of Round Rock and saw quite a few. How many Stingers can you spot in the pics? Including mine.
Six, maybe seven, if that Halogen equipped car on the left by the building is a Stinger - hard to see.

This fine specimen caught up to me in Huntsville Ontario. Nice looking ride!

Also saw a gun metal parked down the Lake Temagami access road, they are as crazy as me for bringing a stinger back there.

That is a strange artifact of light reflection around the diffuser. Really strange. Looks like aftermarket diffuser but you can't even see the exhaust tips in the picture.

Probably the 2.0 or 2.5

Saw a white one the other day in the other lane and gave a little wave from the steering wheel as we passed each other, but couldn't see if he/she waved back due to glare from the windshield. A bit later I swear I saw the same one again and waved again, and this time definitely got the return wave. Is that a thing, like with Vettes and Harleys? Have only had mine for a month, so not fully up on the culture.

I've received reciprocation, and I've also been thoroughly unnoticed/ignored. Hit and miss.

As a former Corvette owner I can definitely say the take-rate for Stinger owners is way lower. Per capita though, it's gotta be a heck of a lot higher than if a Camry owner just started waving at every Camry they saw, so I'd keep it up!

I'm lucky to see at least 1 stinger every 6 months.
It's starting to slip in that direction. But I still see one monthly at least, on average. Frequency of sightings peaked around a year ago, maybe longer. I haven't been paying much attention to it actually. I just know that Stingers are rare, and always have been. That's part of the fun.

As a rider, I'd say its all 2 wheel vehicles (minus bicycles), not just Harley's.

Ran out to grab lunch yesterday and saw 2...a black one on the way there, and a white one on the way back (which might be the one I waved at in my above post).

oh yeah, yesterday, at the Lucky supermarket, I saw a Black GT pre refresh in the parking lot. this is only the second time in over six years that I have seen another Stinger in a grocery store parking lot.

I mistake, saying only twice in grocery story parking lots. Walmart counts as a grocery store, I guess, since it includes a grocery store, so, three times I've seen Stingers in parking lots at grocery stores in over six years. the one I remembered today was a HCR at Walmart three years ago. The one I was referencing above was also a HCR, but in a WinCo parking lot three years ago. I guess I conflated them.

Just saw a post face lift HCR GT rwd, no AWD badge. At HEB on University in Round Rock. Had paper plates on it, so congrats on the new purchase! Welcome to the fam! There has to be high concentration of Stingers in Round Rock/ Austin area. I’m good for seeing 3-4 a week. And not always the same ones.

I saw 2 Blue Stingers within 2 miles of each other yesterday. Great color. It really stands out in the wild!
