That's ridiculous. Like attracts like, on some metaphysical level, is the only explanation. I went in to demand this color, knowing full well it was a car show special and "NO" was going to be my answer: I mention it often, how Fed Orange is my fav color in pictures. And I've never seen one in real life. Talk about unicorns. Well, you unicorns can wave and play with each other.

Question: Has anyone here actually seen two Federation Orange at the same time and place? How do we know there's more than one? Just kidding, but SoCal is a hotbed of Stingers, and I've never seen an orange on the road. I don't buy this idea of them cavorting together, Merlin.

hahaha... i have actually seen two orange ones here in tn in two locations and i know it was two because one had tinted windows and the other didn't(unless they got it tinted during the time i drove from one place to the other haha)! I guess the chance of seeing federation orange is higher since they were offered as a optional color outside of the gts in 2020... I have yet to see another Indigo (deep chroma blue) in person though... theoretically, there should be a couple since i saw them for sale on dealer sites in this area around the same time as ours unless they were sold to people out of the area...

It’s funny because it was literally as I pulled out of the airport property it passed me. Universe making me feel good about my purchase and given there was only 800 GTS built with limited color offering in 2020 GT2 I’d say it’s pretty insane.

We have a big Stinger event coming up in August, there will probably be at least 4 orange and one deep chroma.

Also, I don't know which member owns the tricked out Fed Orange (hood, wheels and all). But I suspect this might pull them out of the woodwork (or not, depending on if they frequent the forum anymore).

But you're right, this is kind of a cheat, since a "wild" one pulled alongside a dealership one. I've not seen the color in real life, even in a dealership. I have, however, seen three, count 'em three, Sunset Yellow; and there are only half as many of them as Fed Orange running around.

AHA! So they do cavort! Well, I did say I was just kidding!

I was forgetting the Fed Orange GT2 that went out in 2020; how many of those sold? Any guesses? I don't know enough to guess; I know of a couple of forum members who have 2020 Fed Orange GT2.

My test drive at one of my local dealers was a salesman's personal Fed Orange Stinger. I then rode by the dealer and looked at his car and took pictures about 6 times to see the color in different times of the day with sun and shade to solidify my decision and then I proceeded to search, find, and buy a new one from a dealer in Jackson, TN. There is also a 3rd Fed orange I have seen in the wild near the Augusta National Golf Course. So I know we have 3 in the Augusta, GA area. I also saw a Black Stinger at the Y on Wednesday but did not get a picture. I would say that I see more Stingers now than when I purchased mine early in 2020.

Funniest so far. Yesterday at a red light beside a guy with a grey ceramic stinger. He kept looking at mine and finally rolled down his window and asked if my car was a stinger too... The rebadge and the rear reflector delete (plus the blacked out rims) confuse stinger owners that don't do any mods.

They look happy side by side! :D

With the Covid restrictions starting to ease in UK, I have been out a little this week!

My car was serviced Tuesday so was in my son's Golf, and saw 2 white stingers in Wakefield!

1 GTS with black rims and a GT Line. Gutted I wasn't in mine!

Wednesday I was on M62 near Pontefract and was passed by a light grey (can't remember correct name) GT Line diesel. He didn't acknowledge at all!

Do not see many at all in UK.

Must say, it has been great to add some miles on!

Saw another one (going North) on I75 in Florida on my way to Sarasota yesterday..amazing how I can spot them so easily #stingereye

Where do you live if it's not that far I'll drive to you so you can see a federation orange GTS up close and personal + it would give me an excuse to put some miles on her lol
