Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

I just saw a HCR southbound on the Bungler at c. 9800 South, maybe an hour ago. We passed like a silver and red streak (even if I had had a camera in hand, aiming, I doubt a shot was practical or even possible: ah, the unfair advantages of a dashcam).

Are your wheels powder coated?
Yes powder coated glossy metallic gunmetal to match the center cap. Welcome to the forum btw! It's a great place to be.

Thursday afternoon, I-90 heading out of the city. Chicago must have the highest concentration of Federation Stingers in the country. I see orange ones wayyyy more than any other color (sorry Merlin:whistle:)...assuming I don't keep seeing the same one. Not complaining though...it's a great color!

I know of 3 Fed orange (including mine) in the Chicago area..

I’ve only had mine for two weeks but in the Chicagoland so far I’ve only seen 1 black one on the 294 and a red one in Lake In The Hills area.

Yeah I see them more often when I go out to the burbs. Don't see many downtown though and the ones I do see look at me like I'm a douche for waving at them lol

Was driving on the 401 today and a guy was beside me in a black stinger with a grey racing stripe on it. Kind of a neat look. He was looking at mine and looked a bit confused, likely because of the changes I made.

This is literally getting old. I think I'll retire when I reach 100; I have 97 (and it's taken almost 39 months). :P

Y’all are fortunate. I’ve had my Stinger for two months now and have yet to see another one. Although I do enjoy having a car that no one else seems to have. I often see people in other cars looking it over on the highway. They look at it like, “what IS that?” Kinda makes me grin some.

I see more TRD than I do Stingers. Maybe because they’re always trying to race..

Stingers are common enough around here that no one even asks about mine any more, and it's been years since I came out to the car to find gawkers. Oh well, typical jaded SoCal: on a 19-mile drive yesterday I saw an entire pod of Lamborghinis on the 605 (hopefully a meet up, not just a coincidence!), several Ghiblis, more Panameras than I could count, but only one Stinger, which evidently belongs to someone who works near the restaurant my friends and I went to, since I've seen it in the same lot before (and even posted a picture here once). So we are more rare around here than the conspicuous-consumption-mobiles.

On my bicycle, waiting for the 8020 South light to change at Redwood Rd; it was rush hour, so this Ceramic Silver got stalled and I captured it (barely).

I drove many hundreds of miles through MD, WV, and VA last week, and didn't see a single Stinger.

In three plus years and six or seven road trips, from Seattle to Atlanta, I've seen a grand total of three: the other 95 are all local.
