Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

I feel like that's the umpth time you witnessed a Stinger in that area. This a brand new one?
I think this was new. The plate started 8M, and that's a more recent registration than I think I've seen (maybe a few months ago, since we were near the end of the 8Ns in late January—more than you wanted to know;)). That said, Kias of all kinds are rampant around here, even Stingers, but the white ones have generally been rebadged. This one wasn't.

But really, there are so many around here, that I could be wrong.

Seen yesterday during our vacation in Australia just off Bondi Beach. Beautiful day.
Lots of Audi's, Merc's, BMW's, Peugeot's.
Also shooting brakes/station wagons.
Bondi Beach, good weather & a Stinger sighting to boot...

GTS on the service road off of DNT in Plano, wish the road was longer and the truck didn’t pull out in front of you.

Today @ 4:30pm in Plantation FL: white with black roof, very clean and beautiful, pulled up behind us and followed us on a left turn through the intersection. We pulled over and waved while he was passing - no reaction.

The question: are Florida Stinger drivers
  • snobs,
  • stuck-up,
  • in-attentive,
  • shy,
  • tired after a day's work or
  • don't recognize a debadged Stinger when she's right in front of them???
BTW, that's the only one we saw during our 2,500 +km drive in the past 72 hours.

I saw 5 today in central ct. Ok 2 may have been cheating because I was within a mile of a dealership, but it seems they are popular in my area

At 5:40pm today spotted in front of me up the road.....Snow White pearl.....decided to go for a drive, caught up, went along side, driver had a slight smile on his face but no other acknowledgement. He ended up behind me as I went on the Wallington road, not as fast around the bends as Sonic were you mate ?
Went up Thacker street, still behind me, gave him a blast with the Bimodal as I went up the Hill towards the " Big Dipper ", after the Big Dipper he turned off.

I don't understand owners of such a rare and unique car like Stinger, will not acknowledge another Stinger driver on the road, a slight smile is practically nothing at all, here we forum members are taking photos and dashcam footage of Stingers spotted in the wild, we get so excited when we see another one on the road, and yet some Stinger owners will not even wave, or give a thumbs up or beep the horn in acknowledgement, these people must not be true car or Stinger enthusiasts I think, someone who just bought a new car who swaps it for another every 1 to 2 years maybe.

Revoke their right to owner a Stinger, I'm always wary of the non molested Stinger, most times a rebadged enthusiasts will acknowledge. Now before anyone argues recall I'm an "Ace":rofl::rolleyes:

Today going from Northampton, MA toward Florence out near where where Pioneer Valley Roller Derby used to be I saw a gorgeous black Stinger.

A lil side by side driving up James Potter road in Brampton town with an Aurora Black. You on here?

I was headed into a shopping center and when I saw the blue one I had to park by him.... even though it was at the wrong end of the shopping center.

What is a "wrong end of the shopping center"? The far end? Because that is the right end, the less or even unpopulated end, the safe end. :)

The whole place is crowded and that end is ALWAYS crowded.

Ah! Then you sacrificed to get the picture. I'm not sure I would have been that willing; but, as long as I was there and not leaving my car vulnerable, I probably would have parked, taken the shot, THEN moved immediately to a less thronged spot. Did you leave your car where it is in the pic and go inside?

I seen two today in my city, red and white. I never see any when I drive my Stinger, always in my Accord.

Left and walked off. It was protected on 2 sides
