Has anyone had the turbo oil feed pipe replaced under recall?

I just received my notice in the mail today. The notice stated this is the second attempt. I don’t think so, I never received the first one…saying it was issued April 2024…ummm negative, SMH. I just changed my oil yesterday too, omg!! There will be a lot of questions I ask whenever I drop it off, I want to be clear on they know what they’re doing…I so wish it was a simple recall that took like 20 minutes. Guess I better start planning to get it there. I haven’t looked yet but is there a video on this procedure anyone aware of?

Sure is... A very complete and detailed instructional video of what SHOULD happen.. thanks to our brothers in the G70 community (same engine).

The video appears to be a step-by-step detailed instructional from Genesis themselves.

I just got my 2nd notice also, correctly though as I did get the first and ignored it. Figured I'd let them figure out how to do this right before doing mine, not that I have any plans to schedule it now anyway.

My dealer did mine fairly quickly and without any mistakes. They've done enough in most major cities by now to know what they're doing, unless you're out in the sticks and have the only stinger in a 300 mile radius. then you're probably out of luck.

Done! Waiting 11 months after the initial notice, I dropped off the GTS on Tuesday @ 1700 and got it back Wednesday @ 1730.

I went for a 10-minute jog followed by a few short sprints, then a long sprint followed by a jog and stroll to cool down. No issues!

In conversations leading up to the recall work, the dealership relayed that they did 10 before mine. I scheduled routine maintenance on Thursday. My mechanic inspected everything from above and below - clean and tidy work was the assessment.

The GTS ran and sprinted for 50+ miles wonderfully this morning!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
