The Mustang certainly seemed to suddenly stop accelerating...

What happened to the Stang? He miss a shift or did another Stang break their car trying to keep up with a Kia?!?:thumbup:
I'm betting he blew his engine ...........................and "mind " losing to a measly Kia , Bawaaaaaaaaa

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Mustang with a manual, if you bounce it off the rev limiter, it locks you out of gear for a while.. A tune removes that feature. Probably what happened.

would of liked to see the race go all the way. even if the Stang needed a driver mod it was still a decent race.

Yeah the Stang was just starting to catch up and may have squeezed out the win at the end. Either way good race and impressive the Stinger keeps up with a new 460HP 5.0:thumbup:

I think you have that backassed....Impressive the new 460hp stang couldn't keep up with a Stinger:laugh:

This isn't the first time a video favors the slower car. :D

I owned both cars. I can attest that the Mustang is a little faster on the track with an experienced driver, but not by much. Equally modded of course. On the street, the AWD Stinger obviously gets off the line faster.

Lol, and that's how I feel too, but just going by the numbers on paper.;)
Supposedly we only run 365hp/376tq(400hp/470tq in reality). It really shows how some manufactures inflate their numbers, and while others dramatically underrate their engines(BMW, Benz & now Kia:D).

I recall the Coyote being factory under-rated, more-so on the later S197's, but also on the S550 both in the 15-17 but also on the new DI 18+

Good to know and even more impressive for all the Stingers that keep beating them.;)

A10 helps out those GT's a lot. C&D tested an auto at 12.1, for the manual 12.6 ...

I love that the Stinger is so fast off the line, I think that's where it surprises so many people. With over 4000lbs to haul around and the sheer size of the car I think the low-end torque is what really makes it such a fun car to drive.

That low end torque is the single most fun thing about driving this car to me.
