Gas Prices:Premium or Regular. Have you switched.

I have spent almost $10K on fuel so far with this car.....geez...

My last tank was pricey - and that's for regular 87 octane

My 2020 Stinger GT (RWD) is stock with the exception of the Borla stainless steel catback exhaust and the carbon fiber tips. Oh and some cosmetic mods but that doesn't matter.

I use 93 octane and fill up anywhere and everywhere. I have no loyalty to any specific gas station.

Oh and I love how expensive gasoline along with groceries has become. I love it. I really do. Let's go Brandon.

Does .ca use US gallons or imperial gallons?

Here's some raw data on the 2.5T over the last 3 months. I'd say 60/40, 70/30 hwy/city driving mix. The city driving (urban too, not stop and go) really hurts the mpg. I drive very gingerly taking my time to getting to 10-20 over the limit where permitted (by traffic).

you could likely benefit from using fuelly for easy tracking.
It's nifty and free

your tracking sheet woks perfectly well though.

^^I have a fuelly account, used it 3 times. Too much hassle. I record the mileage on the receipt along with the indicated "mpg" (to compare against actual. When I get home, it's recorded in a spreadsheet, receipt is tossed. I usually fill up at costco during the day, so there's cars waiting. Can't sit there fumbling with fuelly.

The honda had a unique feature. It showed the last 3 fuel ups - including total mileage and mpg. Even the G37 from a decade ago had this. Why no history in the stinger??

.

But what is fuel/mpg usually measure in in .ca?
Liters per 100 km.

if someone choses to use MPG is Canada - you would have to ask each person if they were using US G or UK MPG - there is no standard. I assume more people would use US Gallons since it's closer to home.

I would choose US MPG personally.

Too much work when it really doesn't matter. I didn't buy the car to save the planet or because it was the cheapest thing to drive. I figure if I start seeing a down trend on the stupid on board computer ill get it checked out.

For me - it's just been a habit for all my gas powered road going things.

My previous Stinger, 2018 GT1 RWD, I had for over 3 years and 33k miles. Except for two fill ups, just to test premium, I have been using 89 oct. I don't drive hard or race. I now have a 2022 Scorpion GT2 and am still using 89 oct. Works for me. I get 25 mpg local driving and 30+ on the highway at speed limit speeds. The difference between dashboard MPG and manual calculation averages about 1.5 mpg. I spreadsheet every fill up and have been doing it for over 3 years.

How did Biden do that? If we know, we can undo it right? So exactly how did anything he or the administration do that raised gas prices? Actual acts and action please.

Fwiw, those agreeing with that image are showing their outward stupid. Divide $44.66 by 14.893 gallons = $2.99 /gallon. I think we would kill anyone middle-eastern for those prices right now. Thanks Biden(?).

This is not an argument, this is not to start crap with people i dont know, and definitely is not or was to offend anyone.

If you read what i sent it actually was very open ( in my mind) especially saying that i thought it was funny and fit the post i originally replied to. That was it. @stoopid , again it was not intended to get a rise out of anyone.

(Copied from my PM to @stoopid . I originated the conversation in answer to he reply for clarity on my post of the meme)

Anyway....all i can say more than anything is as soon as the power changed, everything went up overnight it seemed. I cant say im right or wrong and, definitely can't stand on a soapbox and preach to anyone. When that came acoss my feed (a while ago) as a video i laughed my ass off. So in all reality its just funny to me. It fit the post i replied to as well.

Can we fix it? Thats a whole other discussion that in my mind needs to be had with open ears from anyone involved in it. Im not saying "prove me wrong!" I just cant seem to wrap my head around it all. My thoughts are mine, as yours are yours. I dont, and never have, faulted anyone for their opinions. Hopefully it all makes sense and i wasn't out to offend

You OK ? Need a hug ?

Currently shy of $4/gal here for 92 AKI. Once it reaches, say, $4.20, I might consider switching to Comfort.

MAYBE when I do a road trip down to Commiefornia, I'll put it in Eco.

Only when the end is near will I put in 87...

Got lucky today. Gas is down to $1.60/L for premium at my local Canadian Tire. Dropped 6cents in the last 2 days. I use both 680news and gas buddy to keep track of prices and where they are headed.

Nope. Welcome to Capitalism. All you have to do is look at the massive profits posted by Big Oil recently and the Cartels pumping them.
