Well, it's been a little over the week since I turned over the Stinger and it sucks. If you're on the fence about getting rid of it and you're not getting into something similar, don't do it. My new truck is nice but I'm shocked at the execution of some things by a massive company like Honda, it's just not on par the features of the Stinger despite being the top trim. I knew I was losing the power and handling and all of that, I didn't think I'd be as bummed about some other things.

Things I miss/am unhappy about:
Cooled seats
HUD
Far superior radar cruise control, the cruise control in the Honda doesn't hold you at your speed, and it constantly does little jabs at the brakes when you're behind someone, it's infuriating.
The charging pad in this truck is completely useless, doesn't work at all.
Infotainment system isn't very good and for whatever reason the AA wireless dongle struggles to connect to it.
The controls in a Honda are just not very intuitive, I couldn't figure out how to turn on the cruise control for the first day, for some reason you push a button marked "Main" to turn it on???
Idk how, but this truck has less leg room than the Stinger did for the driver, I'm not a super tall guy and I can't get comfortable. The seats are not very comfortable either compared to the Stinger.
Power adjustable steering wheel.
Honda has a tilting mirror feature when you reverse, but for some unknown stupid reason you can only choose one mirror at a time to tilt, it's incredibly dumb.
Power folding mirrors.
Stereo sucks, Honda is the only manufacturer I've seen that doesn't offer a name brand audio system in their higher trim models. I had more speakers in the front of my Stinger than in the entire truck.
The blind spot monitoring system is actually a few inches forward of the mirror instead of built in like basically every other manufacturer. It's almost completely useless because when I go to look at my mirror, I look at, ya know, my mirror instead of a few inches in front of it.

Forgive the rant. There are things I like about the truck but this isn't a Ridgeline forum and I felt like complaining. I also realize that there's about a $10k gulf in price difference between my Stinger when it was brand new and this truck, but like I said even the features it does have that the Stinger had are just poorly done.

TL;DR

I'm sad.

Had a Honda rental a few months ago.... HATED the infotainment

I had a 2017 Ridgeline Black Edition so fully loaded before my Stinger and I agree with every point you made except for maybe the legroom/driver seat comfort. I find the Stinger much more difficult to get comfortable in than the Ridgeline but that is more of a personal issue. I definitely agree on the stereo and infotainment also mine had this really annoying high pitched electric sound coming from the speakers that the dealers could never figure out.

I experience this each time we take the SUV (CX5) on a long road trip. The CX5 is fine, even a bit peppy with the 2.5T , but nowhere near as engaging or comfortable.

I was actually considering the CX9 as my replacement, very nice vehicle. But we really needed a truck so that wouldn't have made sense.

Go get the Stinger.
Like one of those 80's love story movies: I'll burst in as they're about to sign the paperwork on the Stinger and stop it.

as long as you are crying and screaming "I'm sorry" Will Ferrell style

I’m most likely selling my stinger within the next few days. I’ve been worried that I’ll regret it, but I’m replacing it with a manual Camaro 2SS, so I don’t see myself being too upset. As much as I love the stinger, I think I’ll enjoy the Camaro more. Manual. NA V8. Has all of the features that my GT has and more. Definitely a bit nervous about it though.

What's the difference between SS and 2SS?

I don't think you'll be disappointed with that trade. They're different vehicles, one a GT and one a sports car but that will be a lot of fun.

2SS has all of the extras. Leather, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, HUD, interior lighting. Things like that

Similar in performance imo

Agreed. I was able to keep up with a GT350. That’s 526 HP. He pulled away slowly, but the Stinger put up a damn good fight.

That stinks you aren't enjoying your follow-on ride as much. I used to have a 2006 Honda Accord VP (base model). Had no features but thing was so reliable and probably would have lasted me another 10 years. I sold it after I got the Stinger.

I have my 2019 GT2 and a 2017 Tacoma. They serve two very different purposes for me and I don't want to get rid of either one.

My Stinger is my go fast with all the technology features that make me feel spoiled. If I ever choose to go to an EV (which won't be anytime soon with this current overinflated market), this would probably be the vehicle to go.

My Tacoma is my reliable workhorse. Need it for all the DIY projects I do around the house or hauling bigger items. It is nothing like the Stinger in terms of technology features except for the wireless charging pad feature. I added a custom built sound system and a Pioneer DMH-WC6600 NEX headunit with wireless Carplay/Auto and that's the most technological aspect of my truck.

Originally the plan had been to keep the Stinger, pay it off and get a truck. But we needed the truck and to save a little money so it had to go. My wife's car is paid off so it made no sense to sell hers.

Yeah, GM likes to do that. They will have trim levels like LS, LT, SS, but within some of those, there is a low version, and a higher version, so 2LT, 2SS, etc.
